I'm not sure if there are any rest restrooms available but if there were it would have been a pretty good ambiance I'll have to check next time. It was a nice atmosphere. It was very relaxing and when you walked in it just made you feel like you could look around and see what you wanted and everybody was friendly and very informative to help you decide on what you were looking for as well as the overall aeration of the atmosphere.. The overall impression of my visits were so good that I signed up for some rewards that they have going on with their store and it definitely gives you your money's worth and more. Not to mention they have different selections for your animals. If you want to bring home some treats to them, their seasonings as well as different flavorings of honey and it's good to hear the stories of the people who work there and the years they put in 😊! What stood out the most about the experience there is the different versatilities of meats and varieties, as well as mixtures of different taste, fruits and textures infused with their selections and overall the old school modern feeling of going into a butcher shop which cannot be replaced, at least for me. Not to mention it just gave you all that you needed to not have a experience of overly GMO type food or process and that is the greatest experience I think! One of The butchers that were there for a few decades was telling us a good story about his travels throughout the West Coast and different parts of that nature and it made the feeling even connect more so not to mention the stories he shared and smiles that were exchange made that much more of an experience to be had and we look forward to being there and coming once again and we really appreciate it! It's always good to hear someone's story, let alone something that can be long-lasting while you're sharing a meal together 🥩 🤗!💕

I called looking for item I couldn’t find at local grocery store, I needed for a party. I did call first to make sure they had it before going. I have lived in Rochester many years, but this was my first time at the butcher shoppe. I did a quick walk through looking for the item I needed. I made it to the actual fresh counter when I was asked if I needed help? The guy was great, he could easily have told me which case to look in. Instead he walked all the way around the counter, across the store and pointed to the two in stock!!! Serious customer service, like from the 1950’s style. Super helpful. I grabbed the item and went to check out. Prices overall are competitive to a bit higher. However, the quality is worth the cost. I was shocked at everything they had…..like really shocked. It’s really a hidden gem. The location is off the beaten path- but I will definitely be back.

The best meat in town! Whenever I'm looking for meat for a family gathering or just for enjoying on the grill this is my go to spot. Make sure to stop by here and see the great selection they have. All the staff is very friendly and helpful as well.

FANTASTIC experience and quality meats! I was super impressed with their prices and the overall offerings. They had something for everyone! Left with 2 steaks, 2 pork chops, dog treats plus ground chicken, and a few items from the premade counter and it was under $50! Definitely recommend! Super friendly and helpful staff too!

Always a great selection of meats. They also have great bacon, dogs and brats. If I am ever cooking out for guests I am sure to stop in.

Second time someone grabs the meat with no gloves. This is disgusting. One of the workers has extremely long nails with dirt underneath. How is this even allowed?! As someone with food allergies and basic hygiene, I’m nervous even going back here.

Ye olde butcher shop has everything you need for fresh meats. A variety of spices/rubs to choose from. The staff is always extremely friendly.

Wonderful staff and amazing variety. It's really no wonder why this place has stayed open in Rochester's cut throat market. (Disappointing they don't have weekly near expiration products though! Like a 50% off for a day or SOMETHING)

these guys know meat! the cuts are great. they can pretty much do anything you want but you can't buy anything bad there. they literally won't put it on the shelf to sell. I love coming back to this place. if you don't know what to get or you're looking for something that you don't normally get, all you have to do is ask somebody that works there and they will give you perfect recommendations!

You can check around and find "choice" prime rib for $10/lb but it's our Christmas dinner and I can taste the difference. Ye Olde butchershoppe is the best. Oh, did I mention they seasoned and vacuum packed it for me.
