Incredible. As the website says. It will make you regret any and all compromises you make on your ranch. I believe this is now a working ranch and a wedding venue. I showed up on a Sunday and gave myself a self guided tour. I'm not sure anyone works there in the "tour" department. Shame really. They could make a few dollars off that. I honestly don't think the owners are interested in a few dollars tho. Lol. I would like to come back and see one of their sale barn days. Maybe buy a nice registered Hereford. Beautiful animals.

This historical Wyoming ranch is a real beauty, it's like stepping back in time. Keep in mind it is a working cattle ranch, not a tourist destination. You can visit the museum/library on your own. There are historical photos and trophies on display, and you can do a self guided tour around the area. The local Audubon Society has a couple of walking trails that you can follow and the bird watching is great! Everyone I ran into was friendly and helpful, I had a great experience and . learned so much about a little piece of Wyoming History.

A wonderful and unique original ranch and the folks there make you feel welcomed! It provides an opportunity to actually feel the past, an original setting, and see a ranch that has been integrated with a natural setting! It is very much worth visiting and spending a little bit of time looking at an original and beautiful ranch that is nestled in a semi-arid climate with very harsh winters! But, the summers are beautiful and wonderful!

I would be very careful when booking a wedding here. We signed a contract and paid for it and then months later we where told they accidentally booked the same day for two other couples. So in total there where 3 couples who had signed contracts and paid either in full or the deposit and then told that that barn wasn’t available. How would you make 3 different wedding parties all wanting to get married at the same time work?!? Terrible organization.

My family was raised on the WHR. Dr Harry Kingman Sr was a large animal veterinarian and raised his family there. HE Kingman Sr was my one of my grandfathers and a prominent figure on the ranch in its early 1930s heyday. My father, Robert C. Breisch married my Mother Beth Kingman and met as children on the ranch. Ive added history to this review as Im the imaging specialist in the family and have many original slides and negatives of times from the late 1930s into early 1950s. The WHR is a historic cattle ranch and well worth the visit. It was an amazing thing to me as a child to visit in 1958 to see real cowboys out on the range or on the ranch at breakfast. Both my sisters have revisited the ranch over the years.

The ranch owner and management were kind enough to allow my husband and I to visit the ranch to take some wedding photos on our big day. Thanks to the GORGEOUS backdrop of this amazing space, we have some unforgettable wedding memories. I'd recommend this place to everyone! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Such a wonderful history. Started by Mr Swan (Swan Land and Cattle Co.) to raise Hereford bulls for their 300000 acre ranch with headquarters at Chugwater, Wyoming. Had a famous bull Domino known for his genetics. Original ranch had 50000 acres in Laramie Co. Original seed stock came from a ranch owned by Swan at Herefordshire England.

Owners are the nicest people ever! Always a great time at the Hereford ranch! And ask the owner to do some magic tricks for you! He is really good!

It looks like a well kept ranch, though I did see an old barn that needed to be repaired.
