It's difficult to share a great resource for meats. We are selfish and don't want to share! 😅 Starting with the friendly staff who are always accommodating us. Then to the quality of meat; it is outstanding. We bought a half-hog earlier in the year and were so happy with the meat that we bought a whole-hog recently. It will provide plenty of pork through the cooler months. Thank you Wood's! We appreciate y'all!

Been coming here for years. The rib eyes have been beyond excellent. Todays ribeye was mediocre at best. Also told the pork shoulder was available in various weights..which was not true. Hoping this is not the new normal.

Friendly employees, busy place. We bought bacon, hamburger ,sausages and 2 kinds of meat sticks. Bacon shrunk alot. Rest of the things we got were wonderful. Not exactly as my husband remembered, but still very tasty.

Okay well a lot to unpack here, it was a pretty unfortunate interaction with Woods and their management team. I understand it’s busy season but communication is essential. We run a local restaurant and had made some purchases from Woods for their tomahawk. First purchase went some what smooth. Though the order person was pretty rude, the product was good. However they finished it 15 days before the quoted day so we were not able to pick up immediately, to which we received a very irritable phone call about picking up the product and how it was waiting on us and how we need to be more on top of picking up. Fast forward to our next order. Again first time working with Woods, learning how they do things so we placed a slightly larger order, and received no quote time assuming it would be around the same as last. Only to find out that it would be more than triple the wait of our last order after we had already waited a month. So in order to remedy I call and ask to speak to a supervisor to which im put on a brief hold only to be asked “what do you want.” Then to be lied to about how she didn’t know we were a business account, and to be told ”well maybe we can get 1/5th of your order a week in about a month” in a very rude and obviously annoyed way. It’s really sad especially as someone who grew up getting woods from their stand and now see them treat people that way. I’m not sure if she’s just been having a bad week or what. Growing up woods was the standard, and we’d love to work with them, but not if it means being treated that way.

Not impressed the last two times I’ve purchased from super one in post falls. Bought some cheddar beef sticks @ almost 18 a pound and they tasted bland and the meat itself was gamey. Cow should not have a game flavor to it. Turned out to be expensive dog treats.

best place to take your animal for processing in north idaho.

Arguably the best jalapeno cheddar deer dogs and salami I've ever had. Well worth the price and travel.

Home town meat processing and storefront. Woods has a long family tradition here and have the best bacon, bar none. They offer smokies, various types of sausage, hotdogs, meat cuts, etc. I buy my dog bones here. They are pricey but good quality and you can buy different lengths. Love to work with Rosie.

We ordered a half of beef from Woods, first and last time. Definitely not impressed by them or there meat. I've never had a gamey taste to a cows meat before until I tried their beef. A cow should not have a gamey taste or flavor to it. We …
