My husband and I are not big meat-eaters, but after trying Wolf Creek Farm's ground beef and sirloin steak, we will only purchase our meat from their farm. We highly recommend their quality meat - new to the area, we hope to visit their farm this Spring.
I won a beef package that included some prime rib steaks. I made them this evening and I have to say that I have never had a more delicious piece of beef. For my honeymoon, my husband and I ate at Gordon Ramsey's Steak House in Las Vegas. His steak was wonderful, but the beef I had tonight totally eclipsed it. I did a simple cook on it. Salt, pepper, fresh garlic, butter, rosemary. I hard seared it and then basted it until it was rare (ish). It was not quite medium rare but not as rare as rare, lol. DELICIOUS. I sauteed onion and beefy portabella mushrooms. I made twice cooked smashed potato bites and grilled asparagus for sides. Again, I recommend this beef if you care to eat something TASTY!
Great local farm stand, lots of selection of products from produce to fresh frozen meats, eggs and honey. I love the little gift items too like cat nip toys and dish scrubbers
