Wingate Stables

I have bought 1/4 beef twice ,1/2 hog and 2 turkeys from these folks. All I have to say is the price and the meat are, to me, well worth it. They're really down to earth folks and to me, terribly honest and helpful when your buying. They help you from the start and they don't pressure you. I recommend these folks very highly. And it's the only place I'll buy my meat.

I have to say this beef is amazing! Ground beef was good quality the cubed steak was the best I have ever had! I only wish I would have gotten more of it. I will be definitely be buying here from now on. I like that I can buy local too! Thank you

They offer fantastic meat choices. It’s nice to have a local farmer who cares about their customers, and doesn’t add things to the meat like the grocery stores do. They made it a very easy process from start to finish. I will continue using them, and loading my freezer up every year!

This is the second time I purchased some pork from Wingate stables. Love the pork sausage great flavor not overly seasoned, simply perfect as a breakfast sausage or sausage Patty burger. It’s definetly leaner than store bought and advice on how to cook from David was spot on. Thank you Wingate Stables I’ll be back for more great meats

Lamb review, updated review I recently bought both the beef and some lamb. I wrote a previous review on the beef. I said I'd write one on the lamb once I was able to cook the lamb. First off let me say, I'm not a big fan of lamb meat. It tastes very gamey to me and the few variations I've had were very chewy. So I cooked a lamb blade roast in the crockpot with middle eastern spices and 5 hours later the most delicious, mouth watering, tender roast emerged from the crackpot. Believe me when I tell you it was one of the most tender cuts of meat I've cooked. It was truly scrumptious. I'm a beef girl at heart, but the lamb from Wingate Stables has me rethinking my way of eating. The lamb is a must try from Wingate. Even if you think you don't like lamb, this will change your mind for sure. Definitely 5 stars for the lamb my friends and the friendliness of the people- thank you Sue Yummy, you made me a lamb consumer will definitely be ordering more.
