I appreciate the mission statement of Windy Acres Farm and am very excited to have a local source for organic grains. I recently purchased soft red wheat berries in bulk. The product is very clean and fresh tasting. It grinds into wonderful pastry flour. We have enjoyed a host of baked goods from this flour. We've even had success with bread (with the addition of a little vital wheat gluten)! The prices can't be beat and the conversation that I had with Mrs Farris was informative and enjoyable as well. I will definitely be a return customer!
If you follow their social media and if you have talked to them for any length of time, you can tell how much they care about their animals and taking care of the soil and land. I'm so glad I found them, and everything has been delicious!
