Pulled up to the gate this morning at 10 with a bus with 6 disabled adults, and the gate was closed. After about 10 minutes the gentleman in the truck came up to the gate. I informed him that we were there to see the goats and visit the store. He replied, "we don't give tours here" He replied with disgust, "come on in." Once inside, his wife came out and was complaining that we should have called first as they like to be prepared for large groups. I apologized, and said we would call next time, but I didn't think 6 was a large group. While the others were checking out the goats, I introduced myself, and the gentleman replied with "make sure they dont touch the goats. You wouldn't like it if I pulled up to your place of business and asked for a look around" i replied with "sir, our business is public, and you are more than welcome to come take a look around" he said, "well you wouldn't like it if I came to your home and looked around" i replied with, " yes you are correct, but my home is not listed on the internet as a place of business LLC". I informed my small group we were loading up, and it was time to go. Every client had $20 to spend in their store. I have never encountered such rude and unpleasant owners in any place of business. If you dont want the patronage, do not advertise that you are open for business.

Never again...rude and obnoxious staff. We loaded up and left.... had to explain to a group of intellectually delayed people why we couldn't stay..... This is antibully week, now we know who these people are...bullies

The farmers and staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. In fact, the goats are extremely fun, happy and friendly as well. The boys loved getting their pictures taken! We got 2 dozen eggs,Mango jam, pickles, and some absolutely delicious garlic/dill goat cheese from the freezer where it will be kept at home. Thank you so,so much for being open and available to us in our neighborhood for shopping on Wednesdays and Saturdays starting at 10. We will be repeat customers. Very well done !

I would give 0 stars if I could. You’re not allowed to feed or touch any of the animals, and the people were very rude and unwelcoming. They also accused me of touching the goats when I did not and then told me I was lying and couldn’t read the signs when I told them I hadn’t touched any of their animals.

Alan and Vonnie are two hard working and knowledgeable farmers. Along with being successful farmers they are also pioneers in the micro dairy sector for our region. Working closely with USDA they created an infrastructure allowing them to make Grade A goat milk. It takes years of hard work and dedication to create what they have; I realize that as I too am working to get Grade A certificate, for buffalo milk. During one of our construction inspections my USDA inspector recommended that I go see Windmill Dairy since they have set a great example for folks like me. Alan and Vonnie took out 2.5 hours from their very busy schedule to go over their set up and explain to me all its details. They patiently listened and answered my questions. Vonnie even taught me how to approach pricing some of my products as we tasted some of her cheesecakes. Oh, my, they are so delicious. I have never been a fan of goat milk but their goat milk is the mildest I have ever tasted. I brought some home and my kids and mom loved it. The soaps are divine as well. Not having ever known me, after the visit Vonnie gave me a big warm hug, wished me luck, told me I was on the right path, and said I can call her anytime if I need help. Thank God for kind-hearted, talented farmers like these two. And most importantly, be sure to go support them in their endeavors because if we don’t we may never know what good goat milk actually tastes good.

Fun to see all the goats happily eating in their pens. The owners and customer care agent in the store are so nice. Buy the Goat Cheese Cheesecake! A little Heaven on a spoon.
