The lamb is consistently flavorful, tender, and beautifully finished—an absolute standout when I feature it in my farm-to-table dinners. Guests always give glowing feedback on the dishes, and it’s truly a testament to the care that goes into raising these animals. Working with Sheila has been such a pleasure—she is knowledgeable, helpful, and goes above and beyond to ensure I have the right cuts for my menus. Her expertise makes the process seamless, and her dedication to her craft really shines through in the final product. Quite literally the best lamb I’ve ever had in my life. They are committed to excellence and quality, not only in their livestock but also in their farming practices. Extremely frustrating and ultimately a total rip off. Communication started well but when it came to receiving our order, it was a total cluster dragging on for months and ultimately never resolved. I scheduled my pick up at the nearest butcher, 45 minutes away and took off work to get there during their open hours, only for them to not answer the door. I had to call both the number on the sign and Winchester Ridge Farm multiple times before I got a hold of someone. It took over an hour to receive the meat, which was cut incorrectly, according to a cut sheet from someone else, last year. When I reviewed the cuts I received, there were roasts and ribs missing, a significant amount of meat for which I paid a premium trying to support local producers. Winchester Ridge told me they would deliver the meat to me at a later date, but despite several follow ups BY ME, I have not received it 6 months later. I give two stars to the little lambs themselves and the initial communication by Winchester, but ultimately, I feel ripped off and burned. What a waste of time, energy, and money. **Updated for a response to Winchester Ridge Farm** This was the first lamb that I purchased, not the second. Also, I followed up with you multiple times with no reply over several months. The communication breakdown was on your end, and I only wrote the review after 6 months of patience and hope that you would follow through. I'm extremely disappointed at the lack of communication and follow through, rather than with the butcher.

Winchester Ridge Farms is amazing . Not only in their quality of meat but customer service also . We love the idea of having locally raised Lambs for our family to eat , "farm to table "!! Thank you again Winchester Ridge Farm -

My order of lamb from Winchester Ridge Farm was delivered by FedEx on the expected date. The lamb was frozen. It is the best lamb I've eaten and am looking forward to serving it to my family and enjoying it all.

We have always had great service from Winchester ridge farms. The products are awesome. I know there's a problem right now with the butchering. The new shop is opening September 6th. Wish everyone the best of luck.

Their farming practices and the care they put into all that they do results in superior products whether it’s fresh meats or the amazing bbq trailer (btw where are you gonna be next?) this family farm is a tribute to and reminder of what it means to be a farmer in this country.
