Winding Roads, Outdoors, Blue Skies, & Sunshine: looking for a place to get outside and do some local fishing and take an adventure off the beaten path, just east of Memphis, this is a great spot. It has fishing, open spaces for walking, animals for viewing, open land, and is surrounded by a thriving farming community that has gorgeous land, homes, and great stretches of roads to drive along on a lazy afternoon. This place offered assisted fishing classes for our trip (some of the Naturalists as well as the host personnel conducted the lessons) - MKIN's outing to ensure that children are exposed to various outdoor surroundings. This was a great opportunity for them to learn about the various stages of fish, as there were minnow in the water and one or two actually caught fish. There too were turtles and they got to see the algae growing atop the water and the various types of species of plant life native to the area. The kids had lunch around the small cabin located near the fishing area which also provided a nice shaded area. The greenery on the grounds, the barn, barnyard, and the pond are true attractions that you'll love so take a drive out and enjoy some fishing.

I got some of the ground beef from a food pantry. It was the best leanest meat i have ever eaten.
