What an amazing experience. I called Henry the day before we came out, to make sure he was up to having company coming out to see the elks. He told me to call back the day of around 4:30pm-ish, which was feeding time. We were able to see several bulls in different areas along the way, to the main area. At the main farm area, we saw about 15 cows. Even got to pet 1 of 2 friendly cows. We were two weeks late on the antlers, they were just cut off and the bulls were in rut. So, we only saw one bull, and he was not having it lol. The elks were bugling, which was a sound I never heard before. We went down alittle further to 4 calf elks and fed them. We got alittle *Elk Class*, in which I learned alot from. Ended up with 2 Elk Roasts, 2 dozen of hot/mild Elk Sticks, Peperjack Salami, and Peppered Jerky. Thank you Henry for taking the time out of your day and giving us a tour! Great fun for families!
This place is amazing. Henry is a great guy and showed us his elk. His summer sausage is the best I've ever had. My only complaint is that my wife now wants an elk farm.
The meat tase amazing! Also great customer service! Gave me helpful advice on how to tenderize meat.
Blue Cheese Jalapeno summer Sausage is some of the best sausage I have tasted. Called to order more, talked to the owner and will now go visit with he grandkids soon!
Henry was so informative & took us on the ATV Right to these Monster Bulls! We were 4' from these majestic animals! Bought lots of Elk & Bison meat for later.
