Extremely friendly staff, great prices and that local vibe that makes you feel good about supporting the community of Ojai. The owner is a super nice lady that made me feel welcome. The only meat market in Ventura county that sells whole, organic turkeys not just during thanksgiving time to my knowledge! Will definitely be a returning consumer for sure!
tl;dr - Sliders, sauce, jerky = 10/10, staff and owner = 11/10 In terms of a Plesantville movie-esque setting in the best way possible, this place is it! Everyone said hello upon walking in and we felt like we were right at home. Barbara was juggling a lot behind the counter and still was super friendly and helpful answering all our questions. We got to meet John Watkins as well! Funny, welcoming and someone who takes pride in their establishment. Melissa was juggling a lot in the office but still also came out to say hello and they all were handling business like an all star team. So stoked we made it here and will come by every time we pass Ojai area.

Stopped in to get chicken breasts, sausages, and steak for a dinner party. Butcher / manager and I chatted - she ended up carving center cut sirloin just for me on the spot. Price was great, and the quality of the marbling would likely have scored as usda prime. They raise their own beef and are proud of the care of the animals and the feed - all grain fed. Steak was exceptional too and we had lots of happy guests. Highly, highly recommend stopping by here before hitting the big grocery store. Stock up with better product at better prices, and support local. 10/10.

I can't say enough good things about this place! We had the absolute pleasure of working with Tim to purchase a half hog to fill our freezer - he was very helpful and answered all of our questions quickly and professionally. Even better, the hog we got is AMAZING. The bacon is delicious, the roasts and chops were cut to our specifications, and we couldn't be happier! Thank you, Tim & Team! We will definitely be back when we are ready to buy some more meat!
The best meat my family had eaten! They focus on caring and giving pasture to the animals and we get the health benefits. I've noticed a significant difference in my skin, the only difference has been eating healthy pastured raised meat. They are so friendly and healthful! We feel honored to support local people who are doing amazing work. Worth every penny and a visit! We've also ordered and had delivered. Always fast and better than anything you'll eat from the store or Costco. This is how we invest in our health and support local businesses. Return customers ❤
Seriously some of the best beef I have ever had! Just tasted fresh. The ground beef is the perfect ration for burgers. The filet mignon was super tender perfect 8oz portion for all. Delivery to my doorstep even better!! Will order again soon!
