I called this butcher to get information about processing the last few of our Cornish Cross flock, and did not end up using his services as he was extremely rude and condescending. He told me that he will not even process that few birds (though on his website it states that he will process 1-10 birds if you bring the birds to him on a designated chicken processing day). He also insisted that I must actually have dual purpose or laying hens that I am trying to pass off as meat birds and that he has "a few customers who try that every year." He told me it is very strange to only raise 4 meat birds. Personally, I think it's very strange that he thinks that he knows better than I do what kind of chickens I have. Edit to respond to owner's comment: Actually, what I said was that I did not remember what breed of meat bird they were, but that they were definitely meat birds and not laying hens. My husband confirmed that they are Cornish Cross. I'm glad that you have gone in to update your website after our conversation so that others with less than 25 birds do not waste their time calling you.

Definitely 5 stars to this awesome local business! His custom spice blends are so, so good. No nasty ingredients, like BHT/BHA either like other local butcher shops I've used. Not to mention his stellar service and wealth of knowledge. If you need mobile butcher service or are looking for good-quality meat I highly, highly recommend!

The owner is very passionate, he has state of the art equipment and seems to be extremely knowledgeable. He has provided exemplary communication and prioritizes quality. His knowledge around food safety seems to be above the standard. I would recommend these services for livestock or wild game. I feel confident my trophy will be handled with care and I always get my animal back that's turned in. With other companies I've been concerned if I'm getting my meat back. The energy and funds put into livestock mean that the meat should be handled with premium care. I feel that premium service has been provided.
