Walnut Acres Custom Processing

For several years, I happily ordered large quantities of freezer meat from Walnut Acres and was happy with both the quality of their product and their customer service. Three years ago, they got my order entirely wrong. Two years ago, they variously told me I could not and then could order from them and by that time I went with another farm for the year. This year, having enjoyed their product a great deal in the past, I tried again. They took my order, then asked for my cut sheet and gave us a pickup day, but no location or time. Then they ghosted us. No contact... won't return calls, texts, or emails. I hope they go back to their previous quality...they were wonderful the first few years.

We ordered a 1/4 beef and it was processed at Walnut Acres. The picture shows what the called a sirloin steak. The other steak in the package was 3/4 bone. I guess I'm confused as to how this is custom processing. I'm scared to see what the rest looks like. Attempted to reach out on Facebook and Messenger, and have been blocked. They did read the message and see the picture. Do yourself a favor and steer clear. In response to the processor, the other 1/2 in the package was almost all bone. The cut in the picture has no bone all fat. Yiur response was probably put two back pieces in the same package???? Why, so when I thaw it out to grill and then open the package I have to run to the store or eat out? I guess I'm supposed to take double what I want to grill to get a meal. But hey, you got paid, and I will just have to adjust.

Purchased a half a beef that hung for 10 days yet when we received our meat the ribeyes and T bones were deteriorated at the bone and tasted old. All other cuts were fresh. Reached out to them but they didn’t bother to respond. Buyer beware.

Last year's beef was same size filled my freezer took beef to these guys this year beef was bigger didn't get a half of freezer full hopefully they get good money for selling my beef over the counter very unprofessional
