Walden Local Butcher Shop

Sent eggs with a date that was 6 weeks old. They claimed the eggs were fresh but had a labeling issue. Then future email said “we did our best to notify you”. They did nothing of the sort. I brought the issue up to them.

Getting meat from walden is one of the best things we have done so far when it comes to quality, price and service. We started with the basic order and after few months we increased to something unique to what we really need. The eggs are the freaking best but also the beef stock, hearts, livers and tongue if you feel like experimenting with textures and flavors profiles . Or the chicken taste like a chicken should taste like...I can't buy meat at the regular stores now since the color and flavor of walden is just the closest thing I had to when I use to raise my own cows, chicken and pigs. Thank you for creating something very well needed and I will support you business and send more people your way. Cheers. I am hungry now.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Walden Local Butcher Shop My New Meat Mecca (No DIDDY) Hands down, this is THE butcher shop. I walked in for a steak and walked out feeling like I had just joined an exclusive meat club I didn’t know I needed. Yes, it’s a little up there in price... But so is first-class, and this is the filet mignon of butcher shops. Worth every penny. The quality? Impeccable. The steak melted like butter, the burgers had me questioning every other patty I've ever eaten, and the poultry? Let’s just say my chicken came with a side of pride. The customer service? I’m not sure if I was shopping for meat or being welcomed home from war. The staff made me feel like I belonged... Like I was about to make a meal Gordon Ramsay would nod at. Long story short: if you're still buying meat from anywhere else... why? I’ll be back soon and often. Probably too often. Pray for my wallet, but not my taste buds, they’re living their best life.

Not sure in what world a tenderloin is worth $60 a pound, and the cut looks to be the same as how other local butchers chop their tenderloins. Most butchers I have seen in the area cap at $45, but even that's a high end. Staff is super kind, and the variety is great, but prices like those feel like they're scalping you

Beef priced a premium but quality of ShopRite- don’t recommend. The subscription service is a scam, first month has mediocre products and it gets worse and worse every month, but the price stays the same. Cancelled after 3 months.

I love their bacon, sausage and ground meat. The chicken is also good! But I'm having a hard time with their beef. Every cut I tried was tougher than it should be and not that tasty, even the nicest cuts. I don't have the same problem with grass fed meat from other farms so it's not how I cook it. I still go but for very specific product.
