I was just at the store in lakeville. What an outstanding crew. Friendly and helpful! I love coming here. They helped an older gentleman care his bag out to his car. You don’t see that service much anymore. My hats off to you all!

My wife is from Burnsville, and every time she comes up to see the grandkids we have to stop at Von Hanson's (and she often brings stuff back to Ohio in her car!). You still have the best bacon. The staff is VERY friendly, coming out from behind the counter (the last visit was in the afternoon and they weren't overly busy) with our order, and just to talk a bit (and laugh at my T-shirt ("Oh look - my wife's last nerve. I want to touch it!")
When I want something special for a meal I go to Von Hanson's. They have a great selection of marinated & prepared meats. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable & helpful with picking out different meat choices.
The service is phenomenal and I just absolutely love that old school butcher shop vibe. It's nice to feel like they care about their customers with a personal touch.
Used to always go in Arizona before we moved tol North Dakota. I need to go to Minnesota now to get some soon, great meat
The BEST staff and quality product. Been coming here forever, they have always been the best. Had a ROUGH day of work, came in the door 6:59 1 min before close. (normally I always check) They still assisted me with a smile, chat and always friendly. Thank you Von Hanson team!
Always fast, educated and friendly service. We picked up 7 pounds of pulled pork for a holiday celebration. Everyone thought it was delicious. Great selection of meats and frozen items.
I came to this location with my boyfriend once and I've always come back to this one specifically. Most friendly and helpful staff! I will go out of my way to come to this location every time !! :)
A once fantastic place to go for harder to find items, but no more. What they *do* continue to carry is fantastic, but aside from standard fare you're unlikely to find out here anymore. Yes, I understand it's hard to carry everything, but if I can drive a few miles in either direction and see almost the exact same thing, where is the niche? I'll still continue to shop here, but I've had to temper my expectations.
