Verdant View Farm

We had a great stay at Verdant View Farms last weekend. The staff are friendly and helpful. The home is cozy and unique. This is a working farm and so there are animals all around. My daughter loved playing with the cats and the friendly farm dog that roams that grounds. Breakfast was delicious! Probably the best part of the stay was meeting the other guests and some of the workers over breakfast. We had a chance to meet Evan, one of the farm hands and hear his story. We had a great conversation that lasted through the entire meal. We will certainly try to stay here again the next time we are in the area.

Totally loved staying at the guesthouse room 6! Walkable to the farmhouse for a wonderful home cooked breakfast that accommodated my food allergy! Met the nicest people at the family style breakfast table. Watching the Amish buggy’s roll by our room was something I will never forget! The farm animals were a bonus!

I had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful farm hotel with my daughter. From the moment we arrived, the staff and the owner made us feel so welcome — their warmth and friendliness truly made the experience special. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the breakfast was fresh, delicious, and full of local flavors. The animal experiences were the highlight for us — my daughter absolutely loved interacting with them, and it created memories we’ll cherish forever. The farm store also had a great selection of unique and quality items to take home. Everything about our stay was perfect, and I will never forget this trip. I can’t wait to come back!

My husband was given this overnight stay from our son and daughter-in-law for his birthday because he grew up on a farm and they thought it would be a nostalgic time.The stay was fantastic! The people are so friendly and helpful, the room was lovely, the food was excellent. The atmosphere was so chill and the communal breakfast was a great way to connect with people in a beautiful setting. This will be an annual trip at minimum.

We had a wonderful experience at Verdant View. We rented the cottage for our 3 generation family - including 3 children under 5. They loved interacting with the farm animals (cows, chickens, goats, rabbits) and playing on the playground …

We came here for a farm tour with our 18 month old. We were the only ones on the tour and Trey our tour host was AWESOME! We got to see the cows (Shout out to new mama Willow!) and my wife got to milk her first cow ever! Our daughter loved petting all the cows, chickens, rabbits and the adorable goats! The farm dog (Oaty) was so nice! Gorgeous farm, nice people, and a real down to earth experience. We will absolutely come back here. Great little gift shop too!

We went for the farm tour and had a great time! The farm is large with great views. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and approachable. There were a lot of adorable baby animals! (We went in August.) We had plenty of time to pet, hold, and interact with the animals!

The farm owners were very friendly. The farm house room was comfortable and the bathroom was nice and spacious with shelves to use. |I liked their breakfast. Kids had a great time. I liked how we had the freedom to do whatever on the farm. …

Absolutely one of the best stays we’ve ever had! We knew it was a working farm and that the kids could take part but we did not know the joy they would experience playing with the animals, trying their hand at milking cows, getting as dirty as possible and loving every minute of it. Farm was great stepping off place for our activity each day and a great place to come back to in the evening for a quiet and relaxation. Will you surely hope to return in the near future!
