Troub's Butcher Shop

First trip. A beautiful butcher shop, it had just the short ribs I needed, much better quality than carried by grocery stores, + a lot of other nice product like beef and pork shanks not sold in groceries. Priced reasonably at maybe a buck or two more than grocery stores, very good service. We also bought some link breakfast sausages. Best I've had since my butcher Dad used to bring his homemade sausage home in the 60s-70s, I see no reason to continue buying mass produced grocery store brands. Well worth the visit. Also lots of unusual olive oils, vinegars, and condiment sauces. It's worth paying a bit more for real true quality meats.

Excellent butcher and excellent meat. I’ve been to this place twice now, and had great experiences both times. Both times the meat was superb and the customer service has been incredible. They always take the time to answer my questions and treat me very well. This last time I ordered a Thors hammer beef shank. When I picked it up, I was surprised to find that they had excellently trimmed it for me and wrapped in butchers twine. I’ll add a picture to show you how great the meat looked. They can expect to see a lot more of me.

Nice selection of beef - whole sides broken down on-site. 80/20 ground beef has really good flavor and no bone chips!!! It's a little spendy, but really tasty. Clerk told me they could make a custom grind of 90/10 if I wanted, $1 more per pound.

This is arguably the greatest Butcher Shop in the West Valley. The Troub family gets their meat from Big Box Ranch in New Mexico who are range fed. You can see and taste the difference in the quality. I endorse this butcher shop and I'm a huge fan of their dog food which my dogs approve of as well. They offer every possible cut of meat upon request and have a vast selection of organs for those who love cheek and liver. They partner with a number of small businesses inside the shop so you can get fresh baked goods, salsa and honey as well. They even have vegetables from local farmers in the area. Currently, they have farm fresh eggs as well.

Last week, I grabbed some thick pork chops and a great beef roast. Those pork chops were amazing! So juicy and tender. I seared them for three minutes (per side) in my cast iron skillet. Then, they went into a 400-degree oven for ten minutes. Just perfect! The next day, I seared the roast on all sides. It then cooked in the slow cooker for nine hours. That was perfect too! Thanks, I’ll definitely go back.

We just discovered Troub's Butcher Shop a few months ago and if I could give this shop more than 5 stars I would! I can't rave enough about them and highly recommend this establishment. The staff is very friendly and the shop is always clean. They sell a variety of quality, freshly butchered meats (beef, pork and chicken) that are dry aged. They even sell spices, deserts, and other fresh items to accompany their meats. My family are huge fans of their brisket burger patties. They cook up to be one of the best burgers we have ever eaten. After having Troub's brisket burgers, I can't ever purchase a beef patty from a regular grocery store chain again.

This is a place I discovered from word of mouth because they had beef bacon. Once I went, I fell in love with not just the quality of their meat but their staff. It’s worth every Penny, dime and the plastic from your credit card, and I only go here to buy my meats. I literally go vegetarian until I can go back to buy their meats, cause it’s quality, especially compared to the grocery store.

Hands down, the best butcher shop in town. I refuse to buy my meat anywhere else but here. Service is top notch. Customer service is top notch. The meats and selection are incredible. Quit buying your meats from the grocery store and come here!!

Got filet mignon here and they were outstanding. New to the area, happy to find a great butcher shop! Can't wait to try the polish sausage, we will be back!
