Hi I am a professional musician… the violon and the Trumpet are the 2 hardest instrument to play out of the bat. For a farmer stand point, Wagyu is the hardest beef to grow. By far. It takes a huge amount of love, pride, time, faith and work. We are Canadian immigrant on a E2 Visa and we’ve been scammed twice by “wagyu” farmer. One is in jail, the other delivered us a very weird half share. Even wild bird were not eating the ground beef (yeah we threw it out). Huge red flag right? We learned through this painful process that the regulations in Florida are not enforced at all… so, MANY will crossbreed their wagyu, not staying compliant with the breed, tweaking the “reality” saying “oh it’s better and less fat” (just there… don’t buy wagyu if you want to stay in the “lean processed” meat). So after 2 years NOT eating meat because when you are used to eat quality meat, you absolutely cannot go back... I was, sad, depressed of that. Believe me we did A LOT of researches. T&K never “poped out” in those research … again the magic of Google / Facebook shadowing small businesses I guess. Luckily I found them per pure hazard on a business to business group on facebook. Started looking on their site… and it was looking like a real wagyu rancher ! Many items sold out (because you cannot rush Wagyu… they are ready when they are ready!!! Otherwise, you have to wait! ) I decide to write to them on Facebook. Answer inside an hour. Proactive, solution-oriented, Laura put something up for us to try. They shipped the following day and boom … Sandra, my wife, who was unable to even SMELL beef after our bad lucks, was kind of “yeah right… let see”. We started with a Denver steak (one of our favorite cuts back in Canada). Here in USA they cut it a bit thicker so … oki… I started the BBQ… I was hoping the fire to catch in the BBQ (another great sign of authentic wagyu) and yayy fun ! Imagine, this Denver was acting like a Filet mignon… for real… It passed the “Sandra tasting bench” hands down. My wife ate half a pound just like in our good old time with “Wagyu Quebec”. But again… My wife was like : “ok we need to do burger TOMORROW because I refuse to believe this if we end up again with smelly hard to digest ground beef”. Day 2 … burger…. Gosh it was just perfect !! Just love at first bite! Also after, I started following them on Facebook… you can see the pride of those people… Laura, Ty and the little family are REAL wagyu Rancher… They LOVE their animals and they treat them great… If you read about wagyu in other countries, it’s MANDATORY to give great condition to those animals for them to grow properly… hidden secret of tenderness with a great diet. Honestly, we are VERY happy to have found them ! Probably customer for life if we are able to settle a way to have a half share! Ah ah ah (at the time of this review they only do packages and quarter share) . Huge thank you to Ty and Laura Andrews to produce REAL non genetically modified Wagyu beef like it should be done!! Now our challenge is to “stay calm” and not eating beef everyday all day!!!
Every single cut of beef (and pork) that I’ve had is hands down the best I’ve ever tasted. It’s important to my family to eat farm fresh foods and support local farmers. Impressive company!
I cooked the Picanha tonight on my Traeger. 250 for an hour fat cap down. Then about 45 minutes on high with meat side down. It came out about medium. I prefer medium rare for Picanha but the taste was phenomenal! Between my wife and I, mostly myself, there was only a small piece left. Everything I make from T&K WAGYU is a home run! My family and I are customers for life! I can’t wait to make the next piece of meat!
My dad bought some wagyu from T&K and it was the best wagyu. We have eaten at Nusr Et and this was comparable quality.
Amazing marbling on the Sirloin, Ribeyes, and New York Strip. Everything was amazing and soooo tender!
Absolutely high-quality wagyu. Farm to table at its finest. I also love the Berkshire pork!
Great selection of meat and speedy delivery! Was looking for a great meal this weekend, ordered the Florida Rancher on Thursday, T&K delivered on Friday, and we were pigging out all weekend. The packaging is very professional and fits well in my deep freezer. Best burger I’ve had in years. Stew meat was fire over a bed of fried rice. The kids all told me I had to order more. Can’t wait to try the picanha. Still have a couple of filets to try too! I’d recommend this to everyone. Thanks again!
Delivered frozen in a temperature controlled package. Got two New York strips, a sirloin, and a couple pounds of stew meat. From my wife “This is the best steak I’ve ever had”. I agree. Can’t wait to make some Wagyu beef stew!!
These steaks are phenomenal!! Melts in your mouth. Highly recommend!
OK I was skeptical based on cost. I've eaten at a lot of top end steak houses but this was truly an awesome steak. Not priced for everyday consumption , but texture was perfect and marbling throughout is something I've never seen before. It's what makes the difference between a ribeye and a wagyu ribeye. The marbling of the fat in the meat is amazing. Thank you for a fantastic steak. BTW I sous vide mine and would recommend you do the sane for perfect temperature throughout. I also dod a Cajun whipped butter as well. So all in all perfection with the perfect steak.
