By far our absolute favorite butcher shop! The quality of the meat is amazing no matter what you choose to buy! They have the best cut on New Yorks we have ever bought and our friends can attest to this as when we visit we have to bring a cooler of cuts all the way back to Seattle. They are family owned and the customer service here is impeccable and they make you feel so welcomed. Their prices are very fair, if you are in the area or can visit we highly recommend!!
The ladies were nice, was kind of surprised to see a Barbie doll type of chic in there, we got meat for tacos
I don't know how this place wound up with 4+ ****. A friend of mine just bought and served gigantic 4 stakes @ slightly less than 300$ total. We fought our way throught fat and cartilege leaving 25-35% edible meat, TOPS ! Ridiculous !
Great place and people! Family owned and operated and Matt gave me work in the shop when I needed some which really helped my family out!
Got a couple of beautiful porterhouse and some reuben brats yup sauerkraut in them. Family owned. They are happy to tell you about the cuts and preparation.
Good quality meat for a reasonable price. Employees are also friendly and knowledgeable
Oh my word, what a great Butchers and a fabulous family. We stopped here to pick up some minced beef and got talking about bacon. Although I like North American bacon, I was missing UK back bacon which has more pink and less white (not streaky). Vicki brought out Matt and we had a lovely chat about pretty much everything. It was so good, that they may well be staying with my parents in Northumberland if they go to visit ancestral grounds in Scotland. Matt kindly set up some back bacon for me which I picked up the next morning and we've been curing it in our RV. The beef was delicious and the bag of cured sausages for the road was sensational and should have lasted me longer than it did (my present self is very upset with my past incredibly selfish self). Just wish I had chance to try their home-smoked bacon 🥓 as our smoked bacon doesn't really look very smoked.
After hearing good reports about this business we decided to drive out from McMinnville. This is the closest thing to an old fashioned butcher shop I've ever seen. It's family run and everyone was very friendly. They even brought the meat out to the car, plus visiting and giving tips. Other customers there, were friendly and visited also. It was like being with family. We have only tried the jerky and sausage sticks so far and they were awesome. We felt like prices were reasonable and that we got a good amount of meat / cuts for the money. I'd recommend stopping to check them out, it's definitely worth it. We'll be shopping there again.
This was a great local butcher! Stopped here for somethin to cook up over a campfire and they helped me decide what my options were (as someone who doesn't know the difference between different cuts). Plus got a bone for my dog!
Excellent meat priced right. Super friendly people!!
