The Urban Canopy

I have composted with Urban Canopy for years and they are wonderful. They're communicative and it's also nice that they have rewards, you can get great quality soil for your garden. They also send very helpful pickup reminders but in the off chance you do forget about pickup, it's not a big deal and they can pick it up next time. Highly recommend!

I have composted with The Urban Canopy for... 3 years now? and they are wonderful. They promptly communicate if I have any questions or if i missed my pick up, and they are like clockwork with my scheduled pick ups. You can do veggie boxes with them, purchase soil enriched with the compost... and I am sure I don't know all their services, but if you're interested in trying urban composting, they make it incredibly easy. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend their compost service. They have an effective service model and easy to use website where you can skip visits out or change the frequency of your pickups or order compost, etc. They have fun rewards, too … their (our?) finished compost supported the growth of my backyard native mini-prairie.

Urban Canopy offers an amazing CSA program! A box of produce, bread, eggs, and other treats gets delivered right to your home on a weekly basis. Such a good deal for easily accessing quality, locally grown produce. Highly recommend! This would also be a great gift!

I get both the CSA and compost and cannot say enough positive things. The CSA is always fresh with great variety making it easy to incorporate into the things I cook. Service is prompt, flexible, and easy!

The Urban Canopy is an incredible composting service. With both reasonable prices and efficient bucket drop-offs/collections, they've made composting fun and easy. I HIGHLY recommend if you're trying to start diverting your waste from the landfill and have it turned into soil

Not only do they offer great services, but their hospitality and flexibility are top tier! They are quick to respond when you’ve forgotten your lock combo or forget you’re on vacation during your pick-up week and make necessary adjustments hassle-free. Excellent compost pick up, with great customer service and plan administration options so you can control every part of your experience! I've been a customer since 2020 and I've never had a problem. The perks are also awesome!

Super convenient composting service, and these folks couldn't be more lovely or responsive. Had issues a couple times with my bucket getting taken, so they provided a lock free of charge. Drivers adapted to new pick-up locations whenever necessary. Very happy customer for several years now!

We used Urban Canopy for composting for years before our building organized communal composting. They were always so great to work with. We would often forget to bring our buckets down and they would always drop new ones and just pick up the previous months with the next pickup. Would highly recommend their services!

So sad to be moving out of their service area! Their service is extremely easy to set up and modify at any point. I also love that they offer customers the chance to buy compost back from them for gardening! There are other small cool perks too. 10/10 would compost with them again :)

Excellent and varied selection of produce and food products. Very user-friendly website, and the newsletters preceding each box include recipes for the box's contents, making it easy to use unfamiliar produce to make delicious food.

I subscribed to LUCSA for a veggie share box and loved it. The produce was extremely fresh, and you could taste the difference. I really enjoyed the different beverage options that were sent as well. And the fresh bread!
