The Salty Butcher

So glad I found you guys. We visit once a year from NJ and am spoiled my my butcher at home. Brian went above and beyond preparing all my cuts and orders. Meat was of the best quality. Everyone working was so accommodating even recommending a good loaf for our spaghetti and meatballs dinner. Check out the pre made food too! Meatloaf and loaded potatoes were incredible! Thanks Brian! Will definitely be back!

The Salty Butcher, is by far the most proficient, professional, and highest quality butcher shop I’ve ever had the pleasure to shop in. Not only is the product, the finest cuts of meat and fish, but the staff, including Brian, the manager and Sean, one of the lead butchers are super knowledgeable and happy to accommodate special orders. I’ve been enjoying their service for over a year now and every time I leave, I just can’t wait to get back to for more. You really must experience their product and service for yourself. Go in and try it out. I promise, you won’t be disappointed.

I visited for the first time just yesterday. If you are looking for an actual butcher shop and not the local grocery store, this will be your place. It is not a huge establishment but it looks like they have everything that you will need. I went because I have a dog who has allergies and the veterinarian suggested novel meats like venison, bison and duck. They had all three. It is the only place I've been able to find the venison in Myrtle Beach. You can stop in, or order online and they will prepare it for you. They have a drive-thru and you don't even need to enter. You can pay online, and go up to the window and pick up your product. The employees seem really nice as well. And they work on a points system. For every dollar you spend you receive a point which will be able to eventually become a discount. Everything in the place looks very fresh.

First time visiting this butcher and I'm glad I did. The ground meat was very flavorful and there was no shrinkage of the burgers. We have not tried the chicken breasts but I know they will be good. I also purchased a short rib which the butcher cut into three pieces. My wife and I are very pleased with our purchases. I forgot to mention the New York strip steak that we also purchased was very flavorful and tender! Thanks again and we will be back!

Cant say enough good things about this shop. The meat selection, and quality are phenomenal. Not to mention there are so many other great local things from eggs, cheese, rubs, bread, pastries, and more. The whole staff is knowledgeable, skilled, and friendly. They make you feel welcome. I highly recommend giving this place a visit.

Nothing but five stars for this business. Sean and the guys make your visit so welcoming and helpful. Ever since the first time I chose to come here they’ve dropped knowledge on just about every cut in their display case. The staff at The Salty Butcher care about their customers, I would recommend this place to anyone. There are plenty of big supermarkets surrounding this location and Salty Butcher competes right beside them with pricing and even saving you money with their daily specials. It’s important that you shop local and go see the guys (and girls) at Salty Butcher, the smiles from behind the counter make it much more personal than buying from a Supermarket.

Ridiculously great staff, so nice and really ready to assist with any questions or direction you need! Cute and quaint ambiance that’s quiet and no pressure. One of the highest quality at the best prices I’ve seen on this beach. Got a prime filet Mignon and a lobster tail, I cannot wait to try more of their items!!! 10’s across the board.

We are incredibly disappointed with The Salty Butcher in Myrtle Beach. This is now the second time we've made a trip there specifically for their marinated steak tips—only to be told once again they had none available. Even more frustrating, they couldn’t even offer plain steak tips due to a lack of meat. On Labor Day weekend, no less. That’s unacceptable for a butcher shop. To add insult to injury, we also went for their incredible garlic and cheese sausage—another item they’re known for—only to find out they no longer make it and have handed off all sausage production to an outside vendor. That’s incredibly disappointing and feels like a complete departure from what made this place special in the first place. Frankly, what kind of butcher shop doesn’t have meat on a holiday weekend and stops making their signature products?

I love that they have daily deals on their selection and the service and people working there are so friendly and knowledgeable. They're always more than happy to help and the quality of the meat is high. Always a pleasant experience and their products are pretty reasonably priced.

My family and I were down in Myrtle for the week and I came across this butcher shop en route to Publix. I ended up making 3 trips in, greeted by Sean and Brian every time, super friendly staff! The quality of beef is incredible. They have daily deals that we took advantage of instead of going out and spending crazy money on meals, we cooked steaks back at our place every day. Hands down the best find in Myrtle beach, highly recommend! We will definitely be back next time we are here for vacation

The store was packed with Myrtle Beach decisions-ness, all of the fresh meat looked amazing & the shrimp was extremely fresh. The items I bought to prepare with steak made a beautiful dinner. I will use the salty butcher everytime I come for vacation. Thank you for a great experience.
