Impressive size of ribeye steak they’ve offered here with the reasonable price! The steak is tender and has a good amount of fat. Apple wood smoked bacon is pretty good as well. It is perfect for a BLT. Keith is so friendly and informative. Overall, two thumbs up. We will be a regular customer for sure.

The Ridge Butcher Shop is such a fun store, filled with delicious meat and tasty treats from local vendors. This store and this company supports hard working farmers and small businesses in this community. The meat that they sell here is everything you want your meat to be, and non of the things you hate to find out about your meat sources. Southern Ridge farm is committed to quality, and meat as God intended it :). I absolutely love their 1776 bacon! It’s seasoned with such amazing flavors and will kick up any breakfast (who knew bacon could be better?!?). I recently tried their applewood smoked bacon for a recipe, and the layer of flavor it added, as well as the quality of meat, had everyone wanting seconds! I also loved their ground beef for soups during soup season! Also, they sell dog treats! My dogs go crazy for them, and it’s nice to know I’m feeding them something good for them, and that they can’t stop licking their chops for :). Love this place! We get the regular and ancestral ground beef and it’s delicious. The “mock filet” we got was some of the best steak I’ve ever had (it’s like a cheaper filet mignon) and every type of bacon we’ve purchased has been a hit! We can always taste the difference between meat from the Ridge vs the grocery store. I also love the variety of other market goods they have. The habanero salt and tallow skin balm will definitely be repeats for me! They also have local honey, elderberry syrup, bread, eggs, and even more Local goods from a local shop ❤️

I finally decided to make a break from the grocery store and support local farms. I was really surprised at how much better everything tasted from Southern Ridge farms. Even though I always shop organic, my meat dishes never turned out well. I thought there was something wrong with me. But no, the meat is actually much better from a family farm! My digestion is a little touchy but the Southern Farms meat doesn't cause problems. They shipped it quickly and it was super fresh. When I called them, they answered the phone right away. They were very polite and personable on the phone. The meat is amazing. It's a great deal too. So I'm a fan now and I can't imagine buying meat any other way.

Stopped by for the grand opening and had a fantastic experience! The staff was friendly and provided excellent customer service. The shop is clean, well-organized, and offers a great selection of high-quality local meats and other products. Highly recommend checking it out!

We have purchased meat and seafood from Southern Ridge for 3-4 years now, starting during Covid. We have always been impressed with all of the items we have purchased from them. The meat and pork are very flavorful and the seafood items they have available have always been very good. I have an allergy to some preservatives that are put on frozen seafood and I have never had a reaction to any of the seafood I have purchased from Southern Ridge. I love their new storefront in Columbia. We will continue to buy meat and seafood them.

We have been ordering meat From Southern Ridge for many years. Started off 7 years ago as a portion of our meats in a week and was able to gradually grow to switching all our meats over. Toxins are held in fat. You can visibly see and smell a difference in their meat. You are eating clean meat as God intended it to be! So delicious without the added junk, and clean!

I've been heart broken since our local butcher shop closed. We stopped in The Ridge on Halloween 2024 for the first time. And oh my God are we impressed with the quality of the steaks, and the ground beef. They have the best quality beef I have tasted. 10 out of 10. Will recommend to all my friends!

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable! The apple smoked bacon and tri tip beef are delicious! All their animals are raised in Columbia, TN. Free of hormones, antibiotics, etc. Highly recommend them for locally raised meats!
