A Hidden Gem Worth Discovering! 🥩🍔✨ What a great place to stumble upon — everything on the menu looked so tempting! I finally decided on their delicious hamburger, and it did not disappoint. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I’ll definitely be back — especially to place my Thanksgiving order and explore more of their amazing cuts of meat. A true local find! 👏🍽️
Wow. This is a really nice butchery with awesome meats and really friendly staff. Cut me up a perfect 8lb brisket point, flat removed, at $15/lb. As a swede I am more than happy. Also picked a homemade Kansas city BBQ sauce that’s superb and a nice chimichurri. Wish I could bring you guys back home.
First time visiting this establishment today with my momma! After seeing the most recent episode of “Check Please, Bay Area”, we made the decision to check these guys out!! We had a great time eating lunch and buying some goodies as well! We got sandwiches to go: cheeseburger, fried chicken sandwich, pastrami on rye, and their smoked brisket sandwich! They make everything in house and you can definitely tell that the food is made with TLC! Can’t wait to try their other offerings and possibly buy some steaks!🥩 Just a recommendation with the sandwiches: include extra condiments such as pickles and/or relish/pickled vegetables.
We ordered the goomba sandwich to split and took it to the beach, delish! They have an amazing variety of meats. Service was fast and friendly.
There aren't enough words to describe how amazing this place is. Kyle brings in top notch customer service, the sandwich selection leaves me torn on what to try next but when in doubt just get the bahn mi. This is the place to get Japanese A5 waygu and other rare treats. Todd has done a great service to the community by having a real butchery with a noticeable passion for what they do.
I had the brisket sandwich at The Meatery in Seaside, and it was absolutely amazing! The meat was tender, smoky, and packed with flavor, and the sandwich was put together perfectly. You can tell they take pride in their craft — it’s easily one of the best brisket sandwiches I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this spot if you’re in the area!
First time at The Meatery. Looks like a quality butcher and deli. I had the Porchetta sandwich and a beer. I was given a bite of the Brisket sandwich. Both sandwiches are delicious. I picked up some sausage as well some other things to try at a later date. I can’t wait yo come back.
There are no words to say how good this place is! I heard about it on Check Please Bay Area and made the decision right then that the price was right to fit my budget and the sandwiches looked amazing. Grabbed a friend and drove down from Boulder Creek and it was worth the trip. My friend and I each bought 2 sandwiches each and each sampled all that we bought. We purchased the Calamari sandwich, Fried Chicken sandwich, Brisket Sandwich, and Pastrami. I am not sure what condiments they used in the sandwiches but each had amazing and unique flavors. Definitely a must buy again. , And then there is the meat counter which is the most amazing high quality prime meats, wild game, sausages, and other condiments for purchase. This is a must visit and I will be back to visit again. Absolutely loved everything!!!!!
Pastrami sandwich & beef rib was good. Mac & cheese was OK. Asked for half pound of the mac & was sold a pound. Todd the Owner took our order. Initially his customer service was friendly. Upon paying for my order Todd came off rude & dismissive. He spoke down to me regarding their sauce. The cashier even looked put off by his behavior. The employees were great. This was a $80. lunch. As a tourist, I may return for the sandwiches. Disregard the customer service from owner unless you are a regular. He seemed nice to them.
I’m a huge fan of Todd Fisher, the famous chef who competed in Hell’s kitchen. He’s one of the top chefs in Monterey area so when I saw his commercial on Instagram about a brisket sandwich, I had to have it. The brisket is cooked for 18 hours and it was soft and delicious, very well seasoned perfectly balanced. While there we also noticed a beef ribs that is slow cooked. It was served with some homemade pickles and a side of barbecue sauce which also appeared to be homemade. The food was excellent, but the service was a bit slow and the cashier who was delivering the food to our tablewould only bring one fork and knife so I had to go ask for another overall experiences. Excellent I highly recommend this place.
