The Meat Shop

I was out on a guys trip to Chelan recently and came across this little gem of a meat shop. We decided to grab a few nice steaks for our first night and they were perfect. Thick cut, juicy, bursting with flavor (we got some meat rub they had there as well). I'm really glad we found this early in the trip because we loved it so much that we decided to come back and stock up for the entire week. The marinated tips are unbelievable. Sweet bourbon with a side of smashed potatoes were my favorite but the house tips were also great. I don't think I've seen any other west-coast meat shop with marinated steak tips like this. Besides the steak, the marinated chicken was also amazing. I don't know how they do it, but when you eat this chicken it explodes with flavor as it almost melts in your mouth. I'm definitely looking forward to the next time I get the meat sweats!

Amazing butchery in downtown Chelan with a wide selection of marinated meats ready for the BBQ. A must stop if you're staying in town and have access to a grill (as we did). We tried the maple-bourbon steak tips and greek chicken thighs and both were phenomenal. Nice array of rubs and spices too.

I’ve driven past this place for years, always meaning to stop in, and finally did today while shopping for a big dinner with friends. I needed steaks, and wow, these ribeyes were absolutely gorgeous. I grabbed six of them, but while looking around I noticed they’ve got way more to offer: SRF wagyu burgers, house-made jerky, marinated meats, plus a great selection of BBQ sauces, rubs, and hot sauces. The butcher was super friendly and helpful, which sealed the deal. No more walking past—this is officially my new go-to spot for meats and rubs in Chelan. Everyone loved the steaks, very high quality meat. Highly recommended!

I have been here a few times, and I am always satisfied. For a small business, they excel with the quality and variety of options. My go-to is the jerky and the bacon. As a meat connoisseur, this place hits the spot. I recommend this shop to anyone looking for high-grade meat selections.

Recently visited Chelan Washington and was impressed by The Meat Shop. The steak tips were perfectly marinated and they had incredible sides to choose from. Everything was delicious and made our weekend BBQ perfect. If you're in the area I'd highly reccomend, you won't regret it.

This was one of the most underwhelming meat shops I have ever been to. I had higher hopes since its located in downtown Chelan, but I have been to some actual podunk town meat shops with better selection. I went in hoping for "trail mix". I was met with about 3 meat options and 2 sides options. Assuming it's presence meant it was good, but I was wrong....The burgundy wine meat tips tasted like soggy stew meat. The marinated chicken was bland and rubbery. The beef jerky was hard as hell and so difficult to chew. Not to mention two strips was 11.90. What a ripoff. I spent 50+ on meat I could have prepared, seasoned and jerkied better on an episode of Alone.

This is by far my go-To place for Jerky. They have the BEST jerky around. My families favorit is the Maple/ Bacon, and mango Habanero. Go try them out, you won't be disappointed! Thanks Meat Shop!

So as of the reviews, we were excited to go!! Unfortunately the girl that waited on us was less than friendly, and not helpful. Unfortunately what she suggested the Bourbon Maple Tri tip was awful, I know how to cook a steak, and was totally disappointed. I looked at the dips they carried, and all were past the due date. I have no problem spending money on quality meat and products. Was looking forward to a great meal and service, was totally disappointed.

Love this place! Game changer for Thanksgiving! They prepped and brined my turkey and made my holiday cooking so much easier! Lovely people and everything we’ve had from them has been top notch.

Wow! I can't express how much better their cuts of meat are than anywhere else in town. I got a ribeye steak, which is my normal preferred cut of meat. The ribeye from here was indescribably better than any ribeye I've ever had! And that includes restaurants such as Ruth's Chris.

Great meat, and great sides. I especially like the maple bourbon steak tips and the blue cheese tortellini salad. They even have a small assortment of beer, so it's a one-stop shop for a day of grilling.

Just moved to Chelan and found this little shop and couldn’t be happier. I have been in three times already in less than a month - awesome selection not only of meat but cheese, sauces and so many other goodies. Friendly staff and fair prices, safe to say I’m hooked! Can’t recommend them enough.

Nice variety of meats and they taste spectacular! Employees are very kind and helpful. Plus they have some great caramels at check out too!

By far some of the best meat and best customer experiences I've ever had. I make sure to come in everytime in I'm town or send a family member in if I can't make it. The owners are amazing and quality is top notch.

The quality of the meats and produce are exceptional. Don't forget to pickup some of their great selection of sauces, spices and charcuterie snacks while you're in.

The hamburger was fantastic, we bought portabello stuff mushrooms, omg they were to die for. Nice guys running the place very funny and helpful. Great place will go back many times. ..

My favorite place to stop by when I’m in town! Amazing selection, great prices and the owners are awesome. Def recommend the chicken salad when available as well as the lemon pepper chicken breasts !!
