My son's homeschool co-op had the pleasure of visiting The Little Farm for a field trip. Farmer Ashley & Farmer Chris are such gracious hosts. Ashley planned an educational two hours that included hands-on, interactive material. The experience was fun for both the kids and adults. Ashley shared with me her passion for teaching kids how to farm and grow their own food, as well as take care of animals. I highly recommend visiting this special place. They have so much to offer.

Our homeschool group chose this place for a field trip and we had a great time. There were chickens and goats free ranging, horses, garden produce to feed the animals, organized lessons including using a microscope and dissecting eggs. Farmer Ashley and her husband are kind and gracious hosts with a lot of farm knowledge. We spent about 2 hours and had 33 kids there. 💫

This little farm is absolutely lovely and Farmer Ashley is just a great person, generally! She was so patient with our not-quite-3 year old who had a bad experience with chickens previously and was super scared. We attended one of the summer programs where we got to learn all about eggs and it was so educational! I highly recommend to anyone looking for a farm experience with kiddos. Just remember- it is a farm and there are inherent dangers that come with that. There are basic safety steps everyone should take including general awareness of one's (or one's child's) surroundings.

I have general concerns on the animals health and safety. Seems like they all have the same diet of expired produce from the grocery store with the stickers left on them. The farm stand area is rarely stocked and what is there is covered in filth. I stopped by a few weeks ago to check things out and they had tea packaged, but the outside of the packages were caked in dusty dirt. A spot-o-tea with a side of grit anyone? Anyway, what I was looking for was duck eggs so I would stop by periodically to check if they had any, but they never did. I did see one of their dogs chasing and terrorizing the ducks so maybe they just don't lay out of stress. I've stopped by once a week at different days and times and have yet to see any. Perhaps a special request item?

So happy a healthy and happy farm moved to our neck of the woods in Graham. I bought duck eggs that are delicious! I will be getting my chicken eggs from this farm, too. I am looking forward to visiting the farm again, getting more organic products and meeting the farmers and their animals. Welcome to Graham!
