The Feedlot

When I texted Dave and said “how do I pay” he told me “I don’t think you need this service do you”? See I work with and around Dave in Tulsa and I knew and he knew I could drop by his shop or even meet him at work to buy some meat. What Dave maybe didn’t remalize is that everyone is busy. Everyone is looking for convenience. And I, in particular am looking for quality. When I eat a steak I’m not looking to cut around the fat, I’m hoping that the fat is just as enjoyable as the rest of the steak. Now it may seem as though I know my steaks, my cuts of meat, my way around the hoof. That’s where you would be mistaken. I know I like good meat. If Dave told me this came from California or communist China I could really care less if it tastes good (sorry). Somehow yesterday when I ordered my meat box, future me knew that I would get my father in laws dozer stuck, delete a bushing in a 12 yard scraper, and break the reinforced gussets where the hydraulic cylinder attaches to the box blade. Future me knew I would be sunburnt, dehydrated, tired, hacked off and worn out today. Which happened to be the day that my meat was delivered. My wife told me what all was in the box, and quite frankly I couldn’t care any less, when I told her “please set some ribeyes out”. By the time I got home I was covered in mud. Stunk I’m sure, and hungry and thirsty. When I finally made it to the house, The ribeyes were room temperature!!! Right on. Salt. Pepper. Grill. I couldn’t help myself I cut a piece of mostly fat right off the grill and devoured. Heaven. I don’t want to eat around the fat. I want to eat the fat. And I did. Wife was already asleep, but I invited my son to have some with me. I mumbled “it’s pretty good”. He said “it’s REALLY good”. (National merit scholar and 36 on his Act). So if you’re looking for convenience, care in packaging, handling, temperature, you can probably get that anywhere. If your craving quality hit Dave and his Family up. I know you won’t be disappointed.

My family loves this place. The meat selection is great and we love that it's sourced from home raised and local ranches. They also have a great selection of spices and other local small business goods from around the area. My wife loves the filet tips for a small meal and I enjoy getting a tomahawk steak for a special occasion. It's our go to place for steaks!

Great Meats and wonderful friendly staff!!!

Went there about 5-10 minutes after there opening time, doors were locked, no movememt inside. Drove to another butcher shop about 10 minutes away and they were up and packing orders already.

I went in here after posting online for meat store suggestions. The selection here isn’t cheap necessarily(it’s also not the most expensive pricing I have seen), but the quality is so good! The lady that was working was super helpful and kind. They have a lot of different local meats(and even some fish) and some already marinated options for an easy meal. If you’re looking for some meat that will knock the grocery stores out of the park, this is the place to go. They also offer veteran and military discounts.

Very nice people, excellent selection and quality. We just grilled our first filet we picked up from here, using seasoning from here, and can't wait to go get more. Absolutely delicious! I'm so happy to have this gem here in Broken Arrow!!!!!

It was a little pricey but you pay for what you get and the quality of meat here has been unmatched so far! They also have pickled items so when I saw the spicy asparagus I couldn't pass it up, I'd return for that alone hah

I bought a few steaks/meats was extremely good but not super affordable. Recommend you try it for date nights if you want to make something special for your wife or husband.

Our 1st time in. We found it clean, very helpful. Like the way the frozen meat is packaged. Tried the bacon, sausage and hamburger. Very good. Great quality. Local meat!!

A great addition to Broken Arrow. Local meats, honey, dessert's, and finger foods. You can taste the quality and the difference as opposed to a chain grocery store. And they have amazing prices!
