Well, my packages were marked correctly. But as for quality, I have gotten better from a local supermarket. My ribeyes and T-bones were tough. I cooked them med rare..Dogs liked them, though....

This was my first experience with purchasing half a cow. Michele was very helpful and detailed oriented throughout the whole process. She showed extremely great customer service EVEN after I picked up my order. She explained to me the methods they used for packaging. This place matched every timeline they had given me over the phone. I seriously could not be happier with their service. From now on I will exclusively use them for their services and will refer them to my friends and family. Check them out and you will be happy with your purchase!!

Disappointing. Despite being a butcher, the vast majority of the beef being sold was frozen - the only exceptions were a small amount of ground beef, chuck steaks, and some roasts. They barely sold any other type of meat other than beef (they had a few pork chops on display). When I go to a butcher, I would generally expect to find fresh meat - otherwise, why not just go to a supermarket?

This year the cuts have been Horrible! The bacon isn't cut right, so far nothing I have opened has been good quality. I called about it & was told the person who cuts the meat is the best. That's a 😅 joke right? This is supposed to be a full strip of bacon? They can't even cut even. …

Enjoy doing business with this family. They always helping us. You always get your animal when processing with them. Always at a fare price! We take all our animals there!

The owner is very rude. Many mistakes were made on our processing of our side of beef. Item we're missing, incorrectly marked. Received only 1 arm roast, no tongue, round steak instead of cube steak etc. I don't think they really know how to properly process orders. They have gotten progressively worse and I would never recommend them.

Best brats I've ever had!!!

We drive two hours to pick up our processed meat from these guys and they are awesome! Everything I have ever gotten here has been great and I highly recommend them! I like to use the BBQ bacon on BLT's, gotta try it!

Had a fantastic experience with the Country Butcher Shop. Brought my deer there for processing and they were very fast taking it in and getting it back to me. Everyone I dealt with was super nice through the process and they went the extra mile with their customer service. Would definitely recommend.

Not impressed with the new management. 2 years ago we took our pig there and were very pleased. This year they did two pigs for us and did not follow simple specific instructions. Will NOT be going back.

Just picked up my beef and was very impressed with the help they offered during the processing and picking up the meat. It was well packaged just as I asked. Am looking forward to getting more next year.

Stopped in on our way back home from Hannibal. These steaks were awesome! Great flavor and so tender.. highly recommended!

Price isn't bad and a real quick turnaround on my deer. I will keep going back.

This was the first last and only time of ever doing business with this place. They didn't get the order right and when we picked it up it was NASTY on the outside of the packaging!

Terrible processing. Meat is not trimmed before it is ground into hamburger. Hamburger is so fatty it appears white from all the fat. Half the steaks are fat.

They have the new owner ! I went there buy meats, very fresh and pork are awesome ! Best Meats in the town!
