On our last camping trip of the season we decided to grill a steak over the campfire. We picked up a New York strip steak and a couple of brats. The brats were good, (though a little too much salt for our taste) but the steak was great. All the cuts of meat in their case looked great and we look forward to trying other options the next time we’re in town.

Professional and friendly service! The only place we go for high quality cuts of meat, cut to size, along with other interesting items. I recently purchased a boneless Wiltshire ham, and my husband, who is not a fan of ham, loved it! Will be ordering the bone-in Wiltshire for a holiday meal!

Thanks to the fine folks , I tried my hand at lamb chops for the first time and with the help they gave me I made the perfect lamb chops with a mustard and horseradish blend of fresh chives, green onions and thyme on oak charcoal with a hint of Applewood smoke paired with wild rice and wax beans

This place is so special! Sheep ankle bones is of huge significance in my culture as toys for children and sometimes dices for fortune telling. So for my graduation I was hoping to wear them to rep my family and culture. I called many butcher shops in town and had no luck, but I got real lucky when I called Conscious Carnivore! Although I was asking such a nonsense question (“by any chance you have sheep ankle bones for a diy project?”), they offered to check for me and invited me to go over and see them myself, when I got there they had them in the freezer ready, helped me identify those bones, and eventually gave them to me for free! They even gave me advice on how to get the meat and fat off the bones cleanly. I picked the piece with the coolest shape and made a necklace with it and it turned out really pretty and unique. Thank you so much for making my weird little diy project happen! Check this place out first if you got any special bones related diy projects and stuff!

They have a really great and unique selection of meets. Customer service is top notch. Had a short rib that went bad (probably my fault for waiting to long to cook it) and they exchanged for another cut of meat. Made me a loyal customer.

If you want thick steaks this is the place to go to. They have a nice variety of meats with friendly staff.

If you are looking for a true old-fashioned butcher shop with all of the extra fixings you might need, this is definitely the place for you! The staff is knowledgeable and beyond friendly! More than 95% of everything for sale is from local farms and trusted partners. They hold the utmost respect for animals and you can experience a true nose to detail butchery experience. I suggest any of the premade sausages and beef cuts that are kept frozen in the freezer, but also indulge in the ribeye tomahawk steaks for special occasions! I purchased two of these and made them for Christmas dinner along with lobster tails, and my family has treated me well ever since!
