The Butcher on Tucker

First time stopping in at the Butcher on Tucker! You can tell the butcher and his wife (owners) as well as the friendly staff all take great pride in this place and their product. Store is fully stocked and well organized with a wide selection of meats, seafood, beer, spices, bbq sauces, desserts, dips, appetizers, king cakes from a local baker (seasonal), aged beef cooler, and even lunch specials on certain days! I also loved all the decorations with antiques & taxidermy, ambient custom made lighting, and license plates from all over the US. They are also veteran owned & operated. Give this place a try and stop buying meat from big box stores!

Highly, Highly, Highly Recommend The Butcher on Tucker for any event. We hired Shawn and staff to cater the meat portion of our daughter’s wedding. Everyone raved about the bone-in ribeye. Grilled to perfection! It was phenomenal! They were so big most people only ate half. So many compliments from family and guests about the steak, chicken, and bacon wrapped asparagus. The best bacon wrapped asparagus we’ve had. Bonus: Shawn was wonderful to work with to plan the menu.

Friendly folks with a good selection. Just a bit out of my price range. This is a higher end butcher shop. The meat is beautiful though!

We ❤️ The Butcher on Tucker. Seriously the best butcher we have tried out, twice now once for shrimp, and the second time porkchops and lamb chops. All were exceptional quality and value. It's less than 5 minutes outside Ocean Springs and easy access from I10. Highly recommend! You can see the aged beef options with exactly how long they've been aged. Service with a 😊 as well.

Fantastic new butcher shop! They are using the same supplier as the old Cruthirds Country Corner Store (which is now permanently closed). The store is small, but they have a great selection of beef, pork, chicken, sausage and more! Very clean, excellent service and the prices are reasonable. We will definitely be back!

The meats are among the best I've ever eaten. The different specials they have are of great value AND every person in the shop is absolutely amazing.

Finally a great butcher shop! We loved Cruthirds when they were here. People would drive a hundred miles to get some good reasonably priced steaks. Well, this isn't Cruthirds, but they are using the same sources for their meats! So, if you loved Cruthirds you will love the Butcher on Tucker. This butcher shop however, focuses on being a butcher shop. Not a gas station with a grocery store.

This was my first time stopping in Ocean Springs and the butcher on Tucker and 10 out of 10 recommend. They are so knowledgeable and the staff are very nice and welcoming The prices are unbeatable. I really feel like I got my moneys worth and Megan that works behind the counter. She is wonderful and I’m so grateful that she was there today. She didn’t make me feel goofy when I asked what something was and the fact that gets a support somebody local is great so thank You butcher on Tucker! I will definitely be back!

By far the best quality meat you can find on the coast. This is the only place that I buy my beef and pork from. 15/10 recommended shopping here and shopping local.

Really kind and professional staff! The quality of meat is always fantastic. My husband and I have completely stopped buying meat from the big chain stores ever since we cooked up some of their delicious steaks! I’m not even a big red meat eater but I’m hooked! Y’all have customers for life, keep up the awesome work! Currently our freezer is packed full of The Butcher on Tucker’s family packs (great deal by the way) and ready for meal prepping!
