2025: I’ve been buying my meats here for 4 years! Upgraded to 5 stars. Quality meat and quality customer service! I love it here! I highly recommend 🤩🙌🏾 2021: This location has quality meat for great prices!! For instance, their drumsticks are 69cents per pound. During the summer time it gets pretty busy but they still do their best to attend to their customers on time. They have every cut meat like liver, goat, chicken, pork, beef guys etc! I deducted one star because, during the summer time, the store is more attractive to flies but that doesn’t stop me from going, I just make sure that I wash the meats that I buy a little longer. I will return.I highly recommend.
This place is not just a carniceria... It's an experience! The people are wonderfully helpful, but it is busy. So know what you want. Be sure to park in the big lot across the street, grab a number right away, and post up. Plan to wait 20-30 minutes to get your meat cut.
Love the prices of the meat! It gets crowded specially during holidays and sometimes cashiers are slow because they are on the phone taking orders at the same time that they are helping customers. . It's hard to find parking in front if the store, I usually have to park accross the street. On one occasion I parked in their parking lot but got blocked by a big truck delivering meat.
Hands down the best but her ship in San Diego. Meat is cut to order (no additional cost), always a huge selection of pork, beef and chicken. You will not be disappointed.
The Butcher Block is a legit place for a wide variety of fresh meat selection and cuts. Take a look at my picture for prices and choices in January 28th, 2023. The shop is clean with friendly customer service. Prices I think are okay since they are always packed. ***Tip: get a number as soon you get in. Plenty of parking right across the street, hard to see at first, but 👀 look, plenty of spots for everyone. Practice patience while you're number gets called. Check out my last buy fully cooked (rib eye steak).

I Definitely Always Get My Chicken And Beef Here. Oh Yeah They Always Have The Freshes Selections. Yeah They're Kind & Hard Working. I Seriously Know You Will Like Their Awesome Selections @ A Reasonable Price. I Totally Recommend This Place.
I have been going to the butcher block since 2006 go early if you dont like the wait or go close to closing there's about 8 front door parking and a parking lot across the street
