Another incredible experience, always feels like home, everytime I stop by. They truly care about their products, and the love that goes into making quality beef. Exceptional flavor from everything I've tried from here. Me and my wife drive from Leander for this delicately! They also have great advise on what meat to use for any occasion, and they are always happy to give a few ideas and suggestions.

I had heard wonderful comments from various sources about this place so my friend and I decided to check it out. Wow! What a unique set up! Darin greeted us and from then on he gave us the best service possible. We ordered some beef tenderloins - they were exquisite! Darin is very knowledgeable and can guide you to fit your needs. We tried a Malbec wine from Argentina- absolutely delicious! We will be back

Darin and who over shows up at any given time adds to the ultra cool, super hip environment. Yeah, it's a great place to get super high quality meat, but if you have an hour or 4, it's more like a social club without the hidden door, special knock, dues or secret handshake. If you go, you will stay. The first question when you walk in isn't "Can I help you? ... it's "What are you drinking?" If there were 10 stars, they'd get it.

These guys are the real deal. I just moved to the lake, BBQ Outfitters just delivered my new Blaze and I needed a beef fix. Great selection, the chimichurri and marrow butter were nice add ons. Grabbed some eggs and sausage too. The NY Strip was perfect. Def be back

Beef Traders is hands down the best place for quality meat in Austin’s hill country. Dan and Darren have created more than just a shop — they've built a community. The selection is top-notch, from perfectly marbled briskets to juicy steaks, but it's the welcoming atmosphere that makes this place special. If you want great meat and even better service, this is the place to go!

If you are scanning through Google maps looking for butcher’s services stop now and head in to Texas Beef Traders. I recently needed some quality beef tallow for a new technique for cold smoking steaks. I popped into the shop and was met by a very knowledgeable and helpful individual, Shea Dow. The staff here are very knowledgeable about the cuts and what to do with them. When you buy from Texas Beef Traders, you are getting Local Texas Beef and I can attest to the quality of the cuts. Our menu called for bone marrow appetizers which came precut (long ways so you can serve in the bone rather than medallions) and wrapped. After all nothing kills your appetite like losing a finger or two to a band saw trying to cut your own. Our next requirement was a collection of steaks according to taste. My wife and mother wanted fillets and my father and I wanted some tomahawks. All the meat here is dry aged and you can taste it in the final product. Rich reds and purples color these cuts and the quality of the source is readily apparent. No overly fatty cuts were present, and you get a great selection of sizes. If there is something you want that is more exotic just ask at the counter and they will take care of you. Prices are great, selection is on point, and quality through the roof.

Growing up in a family of meat distributors in Minnesota, I’ve always been picky about my beef—and Texas Beef Traders is the only butcher I trust now. The quality is unmatched, the cuts are incredible, and knowing the story behind them knows you’re getting pasture to shop, including the only certified Waygu in the U.S. I love that I can swing by to grab meat for the family or sit down for dinner and wine with the owner Darin and a table of customers who are quickly becoming my favorite people. Best meat shop ever. High quality meat, and the staff is always super fun. If you go on a day they have hot dogs, they are the best dogs in town!
