Terra Preta is a small family owned farm in Edinburg TX off M St on Rogers Rd. It's a nice place to buy organic veggies. We purchased celery, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, & carrots which were picked fresh that day (the carrots were picked while we were there!). They were also selling colrabi, beets, coffee, onions, & cabbage. I may be forgetting other veggies. The lady selling was very sweet and talkative & her daughter was helping her that day. They need a bigger sign at the entrance, because we passed the farm twice unable to see it. I love that they are organic and local. We are supporting more local growers and this is a farm I'd like to buy from weekly. I wish they had chickens so we could buy fresh farm eggs. Highly recommend!
