This is the place to buy meat. We used to have our hog and side of beef cut up in packaged here. But we no longer do that. They still have a great selection of all kinds of meats. And very reasonably priced.

Swingle Meat Company is awesome. I drive an hour just to shop here and it’s totally worth it. They always have the highest quality meats and products all at a decent price. My favorite is the Kona tri-tip. They also have great customer service.

I just stopped in there today for the 1st time. Its a busy store with friendly, helpful people. They were very quick at the register, so no long wait time. I bought a 6 lb prime rib roast, seasoned & cradled. I'm serving it tomorrow. I'll edit in afterward as to the quality and flavor. I'm sure it will be very good.

Very good meat and sausages. No ice available. Travelled from El Dorado county to try it out based on recommendation. The place is small but has a lot of items in the freezers and fridges. I would recommend that they have ice for customers that travel there so they could buy their product and travel home. Knowing that now as I return I will bring my own cooler with ice.

Come one come all. Worth the trip up to the foothills for this meat market. This place is always busy and worth every bit of wait. Specializes in marinated and smoked meats. Best tri tip in NorCal hands down.

Always a wonderful stop to visit and many dozens of meat cuts and other food options to explore. Wish we were closer and I'd try a quarter or half cow. We have been eating the meat and cheese manicotti for years.

Swingle? More like Swindle. I would drive over an hour to get here and tell all my friends it was worth the drive. I order the special 1/2 of a front quarter when the flyer comes out and it takes about 4 weeks to fill my order. No big deal, they're busy I get it. Drive out to pick it up and grab a couple other things and then I realize they charged me more than 20% more than the special said(nearly $100 difference) but when I ask they just tell me "Sorry, the flyer says our prices change without notice" and they won't honor the original deal. Then 2 weeks later the flyer comes out again with the original deal on it again at 20% less than what they charged me. Can't really recommend them after that

I ordered 1/2 of a half of beef a couple of weeks ago for 5.29 lb it came today, under new owners, at 6.49 lb. I called and asked about it and she said that all prices are subject to change at anytime. She didn’t seem to care that this was ordered before the new Owner took over. I have bought from them for many years and now never again

BEST BUTCHER SHOP IN NOR-CAL!! They have such a crazy variety and quality!! They have fresh kills, frozen, fresh marinated, and frozen marinated, chicken, rabbit, elk, buffalo, lamb (OMG the lamb selection) they have meal prep kits, marinated, basically pop them in the oven, ready to go. The girls are so energetic and helpful and super sweet. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

Ever since a child this has REALLY helped budget! Now that I have my own children as a single mom on a tight budget they once again bless us with the highest quality meats you can find for better prices for any meat! As a spiritual woman it’s important to me animals are respected through life and death. You can tell they take great care of their animals, no waste and they always offer a monthly flyer for bundle deals and all sorts of goodies! I love to drive the scenic route 45 minutes to Jackson the cutest little country town where all of the people are so kind and welcoming. My sons and I love to look at the cool animals they have on the walls and when we get out meat we drive to the dollar store next door and get a treat for the car ride home! It’s highly worth the drive absolutely beautiful and particularly the drivers are kind and patient in this area too! It’s also a good conscience buying from a small business I believe their family owned too! I mean everyone’s heard of the way chickens are treated and packed to our grocery stores so this makes me feel better for a multitude of reasons, clean meat, respected animals living good lives, and putting money back into places that deserve it rather than giant corporations that do not care about our health or children. Anyways always five stars if I could give more I would ha ha! God bless yall! Oh and I forgot to mention they accept EBT!

We always shop here for our meat but these past 2 years we have ordered the Thanksgiving turkey and Christmas prime rib... there is not enough stars to leave a correct review. They're amazing!!!! You have to try them! Order ahead of time.

Always great. Kona tri tip is great. You have to try the kippered beef best jerky ever.

Great foods! We picked up lots of frozen stuff to take home. We will return and highly recommend!

I travel 2 1/2 hours for the Kona marinated tri-tips as well as the other selection of meats. Love this place.

AMAZING. Local gem with crazy good meat. Some of the homemade ravioli are definitely worth picking up as well.

Holy smokes! The prices are very reasonable and they have a vast selection of meats. Chicken, Beef, Venison, Elk and even Bison is available here. The seasonings are also amazing. This is a must stop if passing through Jackson.

This place has some great meets and great service always busy. Prices are good, the quality is outstanding
