Wow! This place is extremely impressive. They have really good smoked meats and fish. The variety is incredible. There are several varieties of salmon and several cuts of steak and other meats that are smoked, vacuum, packaged, and ready to eat or freeze at your choice. This place is not big but the variety and selection is great. And the pricing is very very fair. I recommend it.
These fine folks got your meat! Simply the best around! Steaks, roasts, infamous smoked salmon and a salmon pate that will rock your world. You cannot forget their amazing in house jerkies! All wrapped up with the finest customer service. If you're in a hurry, call in your order and it will be waiting for you. I'm not sure how long they've been in business but it is many decades. Dropped in with my daughter to check this establishment out. Baby it’s clean and smells like great sausage is being made. My goodness so many options. What was a stand out to me was how nice the lady was. Great customer service. It was a joy to speak with an uplifted beautiful human being. I will be back to for sure.
Absolutely the best meats around! I can't even put into words how good everything from Sweeney's is. No road trip is complete without some beef jerky from here! No other jerky compares!
Sweeney’s has become my go-to place for smoking my seasonal salmon catch. Always courteous, friendly and helpful to ensure the process goes smoothly and in alignment with my budget. Decent prices, packaging and timely processing a plus for the different seasons, always on time to support our gifts and family gatherings. Great advice on preparations, since I’m new to the smoking process. Appreciative. Strongly recommended! On a side note, try and pick up your salmon and AVOID buying some of delicious cheese they offer.
Moving to the area so I went into this place to check it out and boy was I impressed. The woman at the front was so friendly and helpful she immediately made me feel welcome when I walked in. This place has EVERYTHING!! Need a juicy steak for a cookout? They have every steak you can imagine! Need some meats for a charcuterie board? Theirs are some of the best I have tried. Roasts, smoked fish, chicken sausages, British Bangers, you name it, they have it! Seriously, look at the list I snapped a pick of and attached on this review. From what I could tell there is plenty of offerings not even on that list. I picked up some of their Hot Landjäger, one word, delicious! The woman said they have been there for something like 40 years and it’s not hard to tell why! Can’t wait to try out many more of their offerings!
I stopped by the other day to get educated about a local meat market. What a pleasant experience. I left with both an education, some tasty smoked salmon and quite encouraged by the friendly, positive customer service I received. A great local business, for sure.
