Sunny Side Up Ranch is a farm business focused on selling poultry products, specifically fertilized eggs and chicks, including breeds like Brahma and Silkie. The owner, Amy, is noted for her excellent customer service and dedication to the well-being of the birds, as well as her involvement in supporting a non-profit for teens with autism. The ranch serves both as a retail outlet for poultry and an educational resource for customers interested in raising chickens.
I really appreciated the communication and ease of pick-up. I got buff Brahma and Silver Laced orpington eggs. As the three that hatched have grown I think I might have gotten a Leghorn. Some of the eggs were not viable so Amy was quick to accommodate a new round of eggs from which one hatched and now we can at least have a pair of Silver Laced. I'd say they are very friendly very responsive and a pleasure to do business with.
Great customer service, very nice and friendly. She took the time to answer my questions and offer advice. Adorable healthy silkie chicks. Thank you again!
I purchased two Brahma chicks 3 months ago, they are super super friendly and gorgeous. Customer service is excellent Amy answered all my questions and offered great advice. Definitely recommend their services.
We’ve gotten both fertilized eggs and chicks from here and I will continue to go back if I ever want any more chickens. The owner was absolutely wonderful, her and I spoke outside for about an hour. You can tell she really cares about her chickens, and I felt so comfortable buying them from her. She helped me every step of the way with hatching chicks, and answered any of my questions I had along the way. I love that part of what she makes goes to a non-profit for teens with autism. Overall very very impressed and I will continue to go here in the years to come!
I wanted to hand raise a couple chickens as backyard pets and found Sunny Side Up Ranch through a Google search. As it turns out, their Silkie chicks are healthy, fluffy and ADORABLE, and Amy is sweet and very knowledgeable about the birds she sells. One question that I could not find the answer to on their website was whether they vaccinate their chicks against Marek's disease and Amy confirmed that they do. Looking forward to watching these little guys grow up!
I moved to California about a year ago—Sunny Side Up Ranch was by FAR the most incredible place I’ve encountered since then. Not only is this a professional, knowledgeable, accommodating place to purchase chicks from, but these people are genuinely good and mean well. They adjusted their schedule to meet my needs, helped me understand more about the chicks I wanted to adopt, and sent me on my way with the promise that if I had any questions, I shouldn’t hesitate to reach out. They were honest and kind. I absolutely adore this place and the people there, and I hope you’ll at least schedule a time to visit them because I PROMISE you won’t be disappointed.
Got 2 beautiful, healthy silkie hens from them! They are almost 2 years old now and still doing amazing! ❤️
Nice selection. I had ordered 6 blue/gold brahma hatching eggs, received 8. They all appeared nicely packaged and I candled for flaws before placing in the incubator. Week 1 and absolutely no development showing what so ever. So definitely won't be purchasing hatching eggs again.
What a breath of fresh air to work with a company such as Sunny Side Up Ranch. I contacted them through their website met with an immediate response and help with buying my girlfriend a very special gift for her birthday. They are going above and beyond to gift wrap & make sure it’s delivered for a perfect surprise.
First of all Janel is a wonderful person who truly cares for her birds. Sunny side up ranch is a fantastic example of quality chickens for a respectable price. Also after I got my chickens from her she gave me her phone number and is perfectly happy answering any questions I had for her, or about her chickens.
