Sounds to me like you have great pigs and can't wait to travel down to South Carolina pig farm. I'm going to raise pigs down there coming from Massachusetts. Hopefully I can learn from the pig farmers down in the south thanks to everyone who posted on sunny cedars farm.
Russell and Leesa and the rest of the family are wonderful people! They care about their animals and about each other! And they have truly outstanding products! The best pork I've ever eaten! Naturally raised means a lot to me!
The best pork I've ever had! Met this great couple at the farmers market while visiting family. We REALLY enjoyed what we got from them we had to go to the farm to get more! They took our children on a little tour of their farm and educated us on why and how they do run their business. Great people with a great product!
Organic pork. You get to see how the pig is raised. Love that the bacon is nitrate free and even though cured with salt. It's not very salty. Pork chops are pretty thick, I'll buy less and slice it in half next time I get some. Even though it's a working farm so they're always open, he prefers if you call before visiting.
We meet up with Russell at the Farmers market in Summerville. His pork is the best ever and prices are good. He has great pig!
We have visited Russell and his family farm twice, with our grandchildren. Russell was kind and attentive to the children, showing them the operations and the animals. His products are delicious, priced fairly, and raised with integrity and love. Russell is a joy, who loves what he is doing.
Got some products from them at the Sumter Farmers market. Made the ribs the other day and was blown away by the quality. Best pork I have even had. Nice folks and fantastic meat.
