Sugar Valley Meats

Went on 8/14/ 25 because some of our church people recommended them. We bought several steaks and some cooked pork. Well we cooked three of the steaks today ( two porter house and one strip ). They were all tough! Maybe an old cow? And we were unfortunate to hit a wrong day. It’s sad because we bought 15 steaks. Hopefully the cooked pork will be better.

Good selection of meats. We got salt and pepper kielbasa and a smoked sausage. Good customer service and we would toy back to try their other products.

The beef jerky here is phenomenal. Great customer service and great products. Traveled almost 2 hours to get here, well worth it.

Great people and the meats are top quality and fairly priced. The pork chops are my favorite! The taste is amazing compared to supermarket meat.

Top quality meats and cheeses at prices to beat buehlers and giant eagle by 40-60% . I'll be a regular customer for sure. The staff are very helpful.

Pretty great butcher shop. Close enough to Dover and Philly. Come here for good meats.

As a producer and retailer of Beef and Pork, we have been working with Sugar Valley Meats for over 2 years and have experienced the absolute best service and cuts from them, bar none. I have not once...not one time, experienced a problem with our returned meats. It is a 2+ hour drive from our facility to theirs but it is well worth it. Best products anywhere. Customer service is excellent all the time & every time. The ground beef is the best I've ever had anywhere, and it's consistently delicious. Meaning..every pound, every time, is just like the last. The filets are so tender you can't believe what you're eating. Chicken is out of this world. We don't buy beef, chicken or pork anywhere else and we travel 6 hours round trip to fill our freezer multiple times a year. We LOVE Sugar Valley Meats!!!!

**UPDATE** FINALLY got to enjoy our ham and holy moly, that ham was so tender and juicy absolutely full of flavor and NOT over salted. So much so that I'm bring my brother up so he can buy some meat to take back to Washington state. The staff was very helpful pointed me in the right direction AND HOLY MOLY the prices were wonderful. For fresh beef, pork and chicken it was VERY reasonable and even more so when you compare to the chains located in surrounding counties. I live 2 hrs a way and I will be coming to then when possible for my meats from now on!

We buy our meat here all the time. As well as deli meat and cheese. Love this place however one of the employees is ALWAYS rude when she answers the phone and when you go in and get stuff. She was very rude and unprofessional the last time we went which was a few days ago. I had to have my fiance finish getting the stuff we needed from the deli because I was holding my impatient two year old and and was ready to just leave at that point. Won't be letting her help us from now on because she's so rude.

Fast, friendly service where the customer is treated like their patronage is highly prized. The staff here is second to none. The quality of the meats and other offerings they sell is phenomenal and their selection is very large. I'd not hesitate to ever spend my money here or to recommend them to anyone. Well, except maybe a vegan or vegetarian.

Best butcher shop I've been in. They can get skirt steak! The boneless smoked ham is the best we've had. Bacon is really good. The beef hot dogs are better than anything at the "big stores". We like the fresh bulk sausage cuz we season the way we like it.

Just recently found this place. Amazing hamburger, tastes like meat should. Wonderful selection of great meats and cheeses at very good prices. Do yourself a favor and try Sugar Valley Meats, you won't be disappointed.

I love this store. I would much rather pay a little more for quality meat from local farmers. They have the best beef hot dogs ever. Today they were out of some of the things I usually buy but I understand completely. I will always buy all my meat there.

Very clean. Friendly service... if they don't have it they will order it. Awesome selection though... ordered lamb... its hard to find a nice leg. Drove over a hour for their meat. That's how good it is

The beef is first rate! I have bought several cuts and never disappointed. It is comparable to prime grade beef and the butcher will gladly cut to your desired thickness. My go to place for steaks!!

Worst customer service experience I've ever had, a guy started my order, but stopped and waited on a lady that was evidently a powerful local. When I a lady yelled at me and said they'd get to me in my turn. It already had been my turn. That is probably why they don't have numbers like other meat places.

We are from TN and visit the area several times a year. We always bring a couple large coolers and stock up at SVM. Best butcher shop we have found. The meat just seems to taste better and more fresh. We have not purchased meat from a supearket in years. Love this place!
