This 3rd generation family-owned farm was such a nice experience. The owners, staff, and animals were very friendly. The farm had chickens, ducks, cows, donkeys, rabbits, and over 50 goats (including 30 baby goats). There were activities for kids (indoor and outdoor), lots of room to run around, and is located far enough off the road that we didn't need to worry about traffic. The farm needs some repairs and modifications. It's a work in progress, but that was fine by us. We understand that owning a farm is a lot of work. Overall, we had a great time there.

I like what they are doing at this farm. The animals look happy and well cared for. I tried the Canadian bacon from their Meat Shack and Market and it was delicious! I’m looking forward to another trip to Strohmer Farm so that I can purchase various other meats.

Absolutely wonderful experience! I took my mom there for her birthday and she loved it. We will definitely be returning in the future. There are sooo many goats and other farm animals, and they’re all so friendly. Staff is extremely friendly as well. Thank you Strohmer’s Farm!

From reading all of the previous reviews, our expectations were high for this farm. I called very last minute for a “goat cuddles” session and was pleasantly surprised that they could accommodate us same day and I spoke to a friendly lady on the phone. That is unfortunately the last positive comment that I have. We were rather shocked to pull up to a property that looked quite unkept. There were heaps of junk all around one of the barns. There was no clear parking area. A man pulled up in a sedan and pointed us in the direction of the goats. I didn’t realize that we were going to just be turned loose in the outdoor goat enclosure. It wasn’t the right environment to have brought my active 3 & 5 year old boys into. They were so excited to see the goats and didn’t understand that once you run a little, they all run away from you. We had little interaction with the goats once my kids frightened them. I think with a better description of the activity, I could have prepared them a little differently. There are lots of free petting zoos around where we live so I was expecting a different experience for $30 for 30 minutes. All in all, I’m rather shocked that they are advertising for an Easter egg hunt on their property in a few weeks. They look to have a long way to go to be ready for something like that.

We just threw a birthday party for one of our children here. It was a great experience! There was plenty of room, animals for the kids to see, a fun hayride, and a great staff that made us feel welcome. We cannot wait to go back!

What a great farm! It's family owned and everyone there is very nice. We took our daughter for their Fall weekend activities and she got to run through a corn maze, feed and pet the animals, go on a tractor ride, and play games. We definitely recommend going as a family on the weekends!

We had pulled pork sandwich, hotdog, and burger from their food truck. $30 down the drain! Pulled pork was dry and pieces were even so dry they were hard. Hotdog was so rubbery, just to try to eat it I had to peel the skin off and it didn't peel easily. Burger was ok but not for $8, the most I'd have paid for that basic burger is $4 and to be honest it's not even worth that. All in all, it's the worst food truck out of all the food trucks we've ever ate from. I'm mad I spent that much money for THAT.
