Stonecrop Farm

I began buying from Stonecrop farm when I sought a connection with eating healthy meat and learning about the process of farming organically and sustainably. I have been able to follow the close relationship these farmers have to their animals and high standards of raising meat ethically. Pork meat is delicious, clean, and healthy which was my goal in buying from Stonecrop Farm. The unexpected bonus is how much they communicate with the customer to give me a bird's eye view of their operations. Glad to have them as neighbors who care for the environment too.

I’ve had several products from Stonecrop Farm and their bacon is probably the best bacon I’ve ever had in my life. SO GOOD. If you’d like to source your meat from a farm that cares well for their animals, handles things thoughtfully, respects the natural resources around them, and offers absolutely delicious products, then look no further :)

My first turkey from the Stonecrop Farm and it was truly memorable. From the time I picked it up to the time we ate our Thanksgiving dinner, it was as perfect and delicious as we hoped for. Of course knowing that our turkey was raised humanely made a huge difference to our family as we gave thanks to the farmers who made it possible for us to enjoy the delicious turkey with a clear conscience. Hopefully, we will be able to get our turkey once again from the farmers at Stonecrop Farm next year. Thank you!!!

Stonecrop Farm is the best of everything, great people and great food! Update a year later, we ordered our second 1/2 pig and it is wonderful. For example, Saturday we had two of the smoked chops, very good. Highly recommend the chops smoked. Last night we used some of the ground pork sausage, with onions and peppers and sauce on some cheese ravioli. This morning we had some bacon with our eggs, both from Stonecrop Farm. Great taste. Update Thanksgiving 2022, again a wonderful tasting turkey! Update Thanksgiving 2023, our turkey was delectable! I am lucky enough to have a second one in the freezer for next month.

We have gotten several half pig shares and will continue to do so each time we empty the freezer. It's all delicious, but the bacon is the best ever. We get our turkey from Greg and Jenney every year as well! Local, organic, raised with utmost care, and some of the best meat we've ever purchased. Buy a few cuts and try one of the recipes on their website, you'll be sold!

After picking up meat from the farm stand a few times, we took the plunge and ordered a half pig. The process was easy and convenient because Stonecrop had some handy cut sheets as well as a video explaining the different cuts. When I picked up the meat, it was nicely packaged, according to the quantities I had ordered. Now my family is enjoying some very tasty and organic meat. Jenney and Greg also provide some recipes on their website in case you need inspiration for a delicious meal.

We purchased 1/2 pig from Greg and Jenney at Stonecrop Farm and the experience couldn’t have been better. Greg did a wonderful job of simplifying the process by providing us with a cut sheet and accompanying video that explained the different cuts and how to fill it out so you get exactly what you want. Pick up was easy and everything is vacuum sealed and labeled. The biggest reason to get your pork from Stonecrop is the quality. We have raised our own pig and obviously eaten store bought pork but I have never tasted anything as good as the pork from Stonecrop. I can’t decide what I like more the thick sliced bacon or the ham steaks. The breakfast sausage is amazing in greens and beans and the ribs were meaty and delicious. Once it warms up a bit I am going to smoke a pork shoulder and I anticipate it will be just as good as everything else. Getting a 1/2 pig from Stonecrop was a great decision for our family. It was nice to have all that meat in the freezer as it gave us peace of mind. It is well worth the investment.
