St Joe's Country Market

Followed google maps directions and it lead us to a gas station but we noticed the sign for the Country Market on the door. They certainly have a good selection of meat, wine, sauces . We have since cooked and eaten the steaks and sausages we purchased and have to say they were excellent. Pricing was better than the local grocery stores! Definitely will be going back.

Went there with someone who was in a walking boot and a cane. They had a dog tied to front door. Employee out there and didn't move dog. Just stared at us. I had to ask for dog to be moved so friend wouldn't trip. Inside, young employee couldn't answer questions and were not interested in getting answer. Finally had to ask if there was ANYONE who could. Meat purchased was wonderful!

What a wasted drive from La Crosse. A coworker told me they have dry aged steaks so I drove over to check them out. I didn’t see any in the meat display so I asked the girl working if they had any and all she said was “probably not” and went back to what she was doing. How about a yes or no, sorry we are out? Such a rude employee.

Small town, friendly service and great products- meats, cheeses, wine, dips, rubs & seasonings, snacks and sandwiches. We love the fun variety of burgers and brats they make!

We went on a Saturday to pick up our beef order.There was a slight mix up in our order.The young gal that waited on us tried to help by calling her boss.We got it figured out but I felt sorry for her for being put on the spot.I haven't tried the meat yet but everything at the store looked very good!👍 …

Great hometown style butcher shop. Plenty of traditional meats in the cases and some stuff you've never tried!!

$140 for 31 pounds of meat. I took my deer there to he processed due to back problems. The deer weighed 136 pounds after being field dressed. I had the whole deer turned into grounds + adding beef fat. I got 31 pounds back. That's it. Yeah I know 1 front shoulder was ruined but there should have been way more than 31 pounds in just the reer quarters. I understand the bones, fat and hide have substantial weight. I have cut up lots of deer on my day. 31 pounds from a 136 pound dressed deer is just steeling.

If you haven’t stopped in here lately, do it. They’ve done some remodeling. This is my go to butcher for steaks, pork chops, or brats. And guess what? The cut dry aged steaks to order. Yes, 42 day dry aged steaks! The best.

Great meat, friendly staff.

Hands down some of the best fresh hand cut meats available in the area and don’t get me started on the bacon, literally melts in your mouth. The gates of heaven open up when you take a bite of this delicious goodness. They process venison a fair price and turn around is quite fast.

Well done renovation inside! Just what u need on a ride thru, home made sandwiches a variety of cold beverages and their beef sticks... yeah! Only wish is they would have pay at the gas pump option for after they close.

Excellent made on site to go/case sandwiches; my favorites are roast beef w cheddar and braunschweiger! Beef jerky is amazing! We use them for meat raffles at our la crosse bar also!!

Don't let this place fool you. In the outside it looks like just another small town gas station, but inside you'll find a great selection of meats for your next BBQ. We usually stop in our way through home to Illinois and often get something tasty to take home.

We stopped and got some smoked sausage and cheese for a snack while waiting for our St. Joe's brats to brown....everything was great....and we also picked up a loaf of their English loaf bread...which was also great....give them a try....you'll be glad you did.

A great place to take your deer for processing. Very friendly people and a quick turn-around with no hassles. It couldn't be any easier.

The best Jerky and cheddar jalapeño sausage. We stop by twice a year to stock up.

Great CV store, but not in La Crosse, but on Wisconsin 33 on St Joseph Ridge. Great meat counter here.

Service with a smile! The young lady that worked there was extremely helpful. However..... she seemed a little unkept. Should work on her outward appearance.

Came bu after a long ride on the bike and was greeted by an adorable lady at the desk :) she was very nice .

Really good venison processing, But you will wait quite some time to pick up the finished product.
