S&S Friendly Ranch

This airbnb campsite experience was one to remember!! My husband and I felt so grateful to be able to experience the ranch life with Frank and his family. They were welcoming and so friendly and still allowed us our privacy too which was nice to enjoy our getaway! We did car camping and loved the tranquility of the ranch in the morning! They ensured we had everything we could need and let us interact with the goats and horses and they taught us a lot about their lifestyle which was pretty cool to witness firsthand too. I fell in love with Pumpkin (a baby goat) and got to carry her. Their doggies are also such sweet girls and are very playful. We will absolutely be back soon!

We had a fantastic time vending at the Western Jamboree! Even though we got a little rained on, the energy was high and the love from the community was real. Sweet Treats by Thick was proud to be part of such a fun, family-friendly event. Great people, good vibes, and plenty of sweet moments shared. Thank you to Cousinfolk & everyone who stopped by and supported us—we truly appreciate you! Looking forward to the next one!

11/09 We came back to host our daughter’s 2nd bday at S&S Friendly Ranch. Diamond and Frank did a superb job with maintaining the grounds clean and communicating to ensure a successful event. Our guest had a great time, the kids enjoyed the open space and the petting zoo. This place offers an open space that can be turned into whatever you envision! There is parking, clean restrooms, and lighting. Frank and Alia went above and beyond with their hospitality and attention in our visit to their farm. My two year old had the time of her life interacting with the animals, while mom and dad learned a lot about them and about the farm life. Thank you Frank and Alia! We hope to visit real soon :)

We had a wonderful time at S&S Friendly Ranch! It was a delightful surprise to see their cow, Poinsettia, after hearing about her move from City Farmers Nursery. The ranch offers a fantastic opportunity for kids and adults alike to get a taste of farm life. My 9-year-old nephews were thrilled to feed and pet the friendly animals, including horses, ponies, pigs, chickens, goats, and dogs. Our guide, Alia, and other staff members were knowledgeable and helpful, sharing interesting facts about the ranch and its initiatives. Our interest was piqued by similarities with other community organizations we know with educational outreach, Taino Heritage Camp in Jamaica. Overall, it was a memorable experience. We highly recommend S&S Friendly Ranch to anyone looking for a peaceful, fun, and educational outing.

Hosted my boyfriends 50th birthday at S&S Friendly Ranch this past weekend and hands down recommend. The staff Frank and his assistants are so helpful and kind. Diamond was my contact for the reservation and questions, and she was quick to respond and help me reserve the spot. The grounds are incredibly clean, and I have to mention they have real bathrooms, not porta potty's, which were so well kept. Lighting was great as well as parking. We had an area to set up the food and area for live music and dancing. I rented a large 40x40 tent from them that helped with the weather as it cooled down at night. There is nothing but great things to say about S&S Friendly Ranch. We will definitely reserve again with them for future events.

This Ranch is so welcoming!!! There’s so much to do and so much you can do there. They have animals that you can pet, horses to ride and they have fresh produce (collard greens are my favorite). They host events like birthday parties, retreats, wellness events, poetry nights, they also hosted a western themed hoedown. This place is welcoming to all ages; it’s a great space!!!

My family and I visited S&S for a petting zoo experience, and we had the best time! Alia did an amazing job showing us around the ranch and teaching us about the animals and plants that we visited. We will definitely be coming back soon!!

My boyfriend & I volunteered here for the day & it was amazing! We got to help out with the butterfly garden & feed the horses/chickens. We are forever grateful. Our hosts were very knowledgeable & very kind people. We can't wait to go back.

Heartbeat Music and Performing Arts Academy's Preschool 4 The Arts Graduation was amazing all thank s to S&S Friendly Ranch and Ms. Diamond!! S&S Friendly Ranch was the perfect venue and Ms. Diamond made coordinating the event a breeze. For the preschool graduation ceremony we were able to use the stage and had plenty of room for seating (you might be surprised but preschool graduations are quite the event with 120 in attendance), there was a grassy area for lawn games, a shaded area for the food and beverage tables, and ample parking on site and just outside the gates. We also opted to include the jumper AND petting zoo S&S Friendly offers which truly made for a memorable experience for students and parents alike. Ms. Diamond was always clear in her responses via email when planning, flexible and accommodated when changes needed to be made, and extremely helpful day-of providing tables, speaker/mic system, and a fridge to store the cupcakes. Since the graduation, we have continued to receive lots of great feedback form the parents about the beautiful venue and the joy the joy the jumper and petting zoo brought to the children. HBMPAA looks forward to hosting our preschool graduation at S&S Friendly Ranch again next year!

I was lucky enough to enjoy an incredible weekend retreat at S&S Friendly Ranch. The scenery is absolutely stunning, and the ranch animal friends (the coolest chickens, goats, horses, and ranch doggy mascot Rosie) provided such a fun and grounding hang out. Everyone at the ranch is fantastic and I’m extremely grateful to have been a part of such a wonderful community experience. As part of the retreat, I got to camp and volunteer my time around the ranch. Working on the land felt amazing. S&S Ranch is such a special place, and it felt wonderful not only to relax and enjoy my time but to also give back and practice loving the earth we live on. Frank is an amazing host, and I would love to go again.
