Was recommended to this place several times finally went. And I was pleasantly surprised and greeted by a bunch of wonderful folks. They ring baloney is true to what they’re saying. It’s absolutely delicious. I got their famous meatballs, A gorgeous cut of Delmonico beef, turkey bacon, hamburger patties, some ground chicken and a delicious smoked turkey leg. The service is superb. I was greeted by a lovely young lady who happened to be a school bus driver, just like myself. The distinguished gentleman behind the register was very funny. He made me chuckle. And then I met the owner. What a lovely person so welcoming I will be back and the prices are very reasonable for such high-quality food thank you Speers . Love you. Xo

I’ve been a Speers customer since I was a kid. I remember the little corner shop in Pen Argyl and then of course when Scott drove/delivered to our block and I always will remember the distinct “beep”. He made sandwiches when I rode up the hill at Blue Valley - Speers and Scott were just such a huge piece of my childhood and taught me to really inspect where I get my food from going foward. The ring bologna is amazing. Beef sticks are great! The cut meats and ground meats are incredible. I moved away from the area in 2005 and I always make this a stop when I’m home. Last visit (Easter) I stopped twice because I was afraid I wouldn’t have enough to freeze. They found out I was traveling and quickly offered to vacuum seal the bologna, and offered tips on freezing and keep to make it last. I’ll have to drive back from SC when I run out ❤️🥰 I am shameless in admitting there are five rings of bologna in my freezer right now. Hamburgers. Meatballs. Etc. Unfroze a ring bologna today after a month, it was great!

I have not been in this meat market for years but I grew up around the area and went here in the 60s and 70s with my parents..I need to drop in when I visit family back home .

Wow what a great find. Out of the way but that adds to the charm. The jerky is outstanding.

I can't eat pork but they have a smoked turkey bacon that is awesome. I also got turkey sausage there, another good pick. My other half loves their scrapple, pork roll links and sausage patties. Their beef bologna and beef stick 😋 is great. We try something new every time we go there. …

Amazing Local Business! This place has always been my favorite place to get local meat, cheese and farm fresh eggs. There definitely is a difference between local and and manufactured companies that the grocery stores sell. The quality is always on point with the food, friendly staff and cleanliness. This is truly a family business that my own family have come to for years and will continue to do so.

Fresh meat from a family own butcher. I have been a customer for a couple of years now and have never been dissatisfied. They have the BEST smoked pork chops. The smoked sausage is awesome (i make soup with it). Apple sausage is genuinely unique. Farm fresh eggs. Burger meat has the best taste with perfect fat mixture (on the lean side). Definitely worth the separate trip from the big grocery stores. By the way - they will vacuum pack any meats which is great to maintain freshness. Call ahead with big orders and they will have it ready for pickup. Employees are the friendliest and very efficient.

Meats get 5 stars. Staff get 3 stars. There is a female that still works there who has a very unprofessional attitude. How is it she still works there? Everytime I go into butcher shop she is "butchering and belittling " staff and customers, yesterday she insulted myself and my friend who has never been there before. She is the sole reason I o ly go in occasionally. She really ruins a person's day.

Their prices are comparable with local grocery stores, their service is prompt, and their staff is friendly. I wish I had gone to Speers much earlier for my meat needs. You really should visit this special shop.

Love the people, love the meat. Everything I've tried has been delicious. I come almost every week for a decent size meat/poultry haul and you can't beat the prices.
