If you are looking for made in house German style Franks this is the place for you 6/1 pork and beef NC. We cooked these on the grill they split perfectly and had the snap you want. Just had mustard on one and raw dog the other which was perfect. I recommend mustard, kraut, onions homemade chili or a quality relish. Next time on the flat top and air fried. These are right up there with the many great meat markets and pork stores in the State.

Great butcher. I love to go and stock up with the freezer with their monthly specials. I have enjoyed many of the prepared meals as well. Definitely worth the trip when I am in the area.

Excellent quality meat. The hotdogs are delicious and the only ones I’ll eat. Filet Mignon is so tender it’s like cutting into butter and the hamburgers are amazing!!!!!!

Great sausage, hamburgers, bacon. There are also cold cuts, breads, rolls and assorted pastas, frozen veggies, and condiments. So fresh and a step above what you get in the supermarket.

@BigDudesBigFoods finally made it to @sussexmeatpacking in #WhartonNJ after seeing that @belly_busters_deli_review made it there last week. Believe me. It was worth the wait. Everything looks delicious in this place. There is over 50 feet of deli case to peruse while your food is being prepared. I got the “The DJ Three” corned beef, pastrami & swiss on three pieces of rye with Russian dressing and coleslaw. Fantastic! Sussex Market has both an amazing butcher counter and some great prepared foods. I usually stick to the basics like the ground beef and chicken, and it's always super fresh and shockingly well-priced compared to the local supermarkets. Over at the prepared foods counter, the Thai chili meatballs, fried eggplant and various salads are always good and they rotate out some interesting seasonal selections like an unusual but delicious brussel sprouts salad with maple dressing. They also do catering for the holidays, and their sliced turkey is moist, flavorful and beautifully carved. Like anyplace, not everything is a winner--the stuffed pork chops looked great but ended up being tough; but overall the quality is unmatched in the area for fresh meats. What also sets Sussex apart is the staff. The service is wonderful and all the staff, literally everyone from the register person to the prepared foods counter to the crew behind the butcher counter and even the head chef are all so incredibly friendly. Everyone is always willing to chat for a bit, offer suggestions on cuts of meat and how to cook them, and is just so friendly and personable. It makes shopping here a pleasure and I can't say enough about how great the service is.

Good quality butcher shop, a great deli with some unique prepared foods, and their kielbasa is to die for.

We just had a wonderful experience at Sussex Market during our first visit. The store was clean and organized, and the staff was very friendly. The woman behind the prepared foods section noticed that my kids and I were perusing and gave us a sample that we enjoyed. It was a very warm environment; we'll be back!
