The bacon. The BACON! It's the best I've ever had, and if you've never had shoulder bacon, boy, you're in for a delicious treat. Also love the jerky.

This team did a great job. Online scheduling, order clarification and payment options. Completed, processed and ready to go in a timely fashion. They stayed in touch throughout.

Took an elk to smoky ridge last year and the customer service was great. Nice people, timely processing etc . Wasn't impressed with the flavor of the sausage and the pepperoni sticks. Several of my ground sausage and burger packages had tears in them and void spaces or air pockets. In general, packaging is the worst I've seen of 5 different butchers I've used in the state. I wont use them again, but everyone's experience is different I guess.

I purchased a hog at the Colville fair and had it cut and wrapped at Smokey Ridge while giving my order I was asked about bacon & ham which I have never liked in previous orders from numerous meat packing plants and I am talking over many years I am 59 years young. Anyway I decided to give it a try, Oh my Gosh SO GOOD! I am so very pleasantly surprised! I HIGHLY recommend Smokey Ridge especially try their bacon and ham!

This place is awesome if you want great customer service a manager and owner willing to fix anything that is wrong. The packaging always looks the best. They sell and make the best sausage and jerky around. My only problem is the meat cuts I've had steaks that should have been roasts and roasts that should have been steaks and meat cuts that I didn't even ask for if you ask my they could use a new butcher.

We recently chose Smokey Ridge to cut 6 head of Beef. We were drawn to them simply because at a time when every other meat cutter was booking months into the future, Smokey Ridge was actually expanding there operation to accommodate their customers and the fact they offer USDA inspecting. The entire process, from drop off for slaughter , to picking up our finished cut and wrapped meat was on schedule and professionally handled. I have never been more pleased with the final yield from hanging weight to wrapped cuts. They obviously take pride in making sure the customer receives as much meat back as possible and not helping themselves to a few choice cuts. I believe we have found our meat cutter and look forward to many years of quality processing from a quality meat cutter. Thank You Smokey Ridge Meats!

We recently had an Angus beef processed through this company which was horribly “butchered!” Over 70% was in ground beef, which was the only good thing we got. The few roasts and steaks we got were not even what the package said. Horribly cut and tough! They just cut it without asking what we wanted. Everyone we shared with was very disappointed!!!!! Would never recommend them to anyone.

We are so happy with the service we get from Smokey Ridge! We like them so much that we go an extra 45 minutes further and skip our local butcher shop to patronize Smokey Ridge instead. Yes folks, it's that much better!

Smokey Ridge has done a great job for me as a farmer and for all of my beef customers. Great local family run business. Excellent customer service, kind and caring people and our beef is beautiful!

We always knew we weren't getting all our meat back but after using Smokey Ridge this time we are shocked at how much meat we were really NOT bringing home!! This place is fantastic, honest and did a really great job with our pig and our steer, and it was all there, that's great too!!!

This is about my 5th 1/2 beef I have purchased and the first time I have used this butcher. I have only opened 3 packages but everyone has had issues. I had a rib steak that had a half inch of dried edge along one side. I had sirloin steaks that were cut from 1/4” along one edge to over 1” on the other (I asked for 3/4“). Instead of grilling I had to shift gears and so a stir fry to be able to cook it evenly. My T-bones were better but still cut to 1” instead of 3/4”. I complained and supplied pictures and got ‘Sorry, we will give you 10% off next time’. On an approximately $1000 purchase for beef and butchering costs, I would save about $25.00. That is a risk I won’t take. It is also worth noting that all their packages were labeled as weighing more than the actual weight of the meat. It doesn’t matter in this case but I wouldn’t buy retail from them either.

I brought my first bear in there a couple weeks ago and got it back yesterday. Had it made into jalepeno pepperjack pepperoni sticks. HANDS DOWN, amazing! For one, I got allllll my meat back, the quality and taste was perfect and they don't over charge you. 5 stars smokey ridge! I'll be back!

Very dissatisfied with sausages. I think they must have given me someone else's gut shot pee flavored meat. And gave my good meat to a friend. Luckily I didn't give them the entire deer and will still have some meat for the winter. Mike W. Colville Wa.

I took my bull elk that I harvested in September of 2016 to smokey ridge meats. I was in a hurry to find a butcher and this one was recommended as it was close to where I was. Took my elk there and once there they started hanging my meat and the gentleman working there dropped my elk quarters on the ground twice. I specifically asked to half the elk made into half burger meat, half steaks. (413lbs dressed) Then they said it would be ready In a week. I returned 2 weeks after I dropped it off 14 days , and It was $1 per pound , I loaded my truck and was on my way. Once home from the 7 hour drive I realized that I had only a quarter shelf of steaks , about 30 total steaks. And 4 full freezer shelf of burger meat. They did not honor my order. My tenderloins and back strap were the only steaks made and even then I only received 40 pounds of steaks , each backstrap weighed 40 pounds. When I asked where all the steaks went they said they chose not to make the steak cuts into steaks and instead process them as burger meat becouse they didn't want me to have GAMEY meat. I shot a game animal knowing damn well that I would have that taste come about. So for $500 I got burger meat and half of my back straps and tenderloins. Don't recommend this butcher for game animals and after doing some research I had multiple people say the same and that the orders were not followed and no refund was offered, only a chance to bring another animal back to get a slight discount

Great place to bring your livestock or game for processing. Lots of additional services available like jerky, sausage, brining and mobile slaughter services. Jerky and select cuts for sale in the retail shop.

Very good people to work with. The prices are reasonable and the spices and seasonings for the meats are fantastic. Highly recommend
