Smith Angus Farm LLC

Hello readers I am not buddies with this rancher or invested in his operation, but I am a patron, and have been for several years. This is the only place I buy my beef from. The owner is a good dude, he is a retired marine who came home to work his family’s ranch, you can check out their website for more info. They have good prices on quality beef and sheep meat, and you can meet the people who raised it and see where it was raised. It is also butchered and packaged locally in sealed labeled plastic bags that are a lot better than the flimsy wrapping from the store. You call him up with your order, pay and pick up at his house. I take a cooler as I am coming from the next parish over. I am working my way though all of his cuts, and sometimes he runs out (which is a good thing), but hands down the best beef strew meat I have ever had. The steaks are on point, really you can’t go wrong. It is a squared away, professional operation that is FDA inspected, with all the regulations etc. I have never had bad meat from them. And it’s a nice dive out there. There is plenty of parking as it’s his driveway. And no check out lines. I get the beef stew meat and flank steak. It’s very tender. Good luck reader.

Picked up some ground beef and Lamb Chops. Absolutely delicious. Could taste the quality from the pristine grounds the livestock was pastured. Will purchase again.

Worth every penny ! With the added bonus of a beautiful drive on the way to pick up. Knowing where our food comes from is more important than ever in these times. As well as supporting our local farmers and businesses! By the way - they have delicious honey too.

HOLY COW!! THIS MEAT IS HEAVENLY!!! I grew tired of the poison food available in the grocery and the effects of processed food on the human body. I only eat red meat and fresh produce so was searching for locally sourced fresh food and Smith Farm understood the assignment!!! All the way down to some amazing local honey! I am over the moon with the quality and affordability! And the farm is everything you'd want from a family farm! Just beautiful and bursting with life! Not only can you see first-hand how your meat is raised in ways that are better for the animal and the environment, but studies have shown how pasture-raised beef is healthier, with lower saturated fats and higher nutrients. I also prefer the way it tastes. (Eating Smith Angus meat in a beef stroganoff right now).

I got a variety of meats; ribeye, ground beef and say buying from the farm makes it much better. Thanks, I will definitely be continue coming back.
