Neighborhood is sketchy as hell. Once inside, their meats all looked to be of great quality but there was only one clerk - who remained busy with the ONE other customer (who had rushed past me to get ahead as we entered [his girlfriend appeared embarrassed for his behavior and held the door open for us]). Ironically, the clerk and one other person had been sitting out front when I and the other customer arrived. But only one of them was at the counter. We finally left and went to "ZIO Brand Meats & Sausages", off Golden Hill Rd, to get some ribs, steaks, chicken and bacon for our weekend event.
Ordered a verity of steaks, pork chops and sausage and it was all wonderful. Would recommend this place as a great local source!
Service was good and we will see how they do with my harvest. Looking forward to my bounty. I just sampled my pork it was fantastic! Had it in the gravy for my biscuits.
I’d give a lower rating if possible. My family can no longer support a business caught by the Food Safety and Inspection Service of the Dept of Agriculture for inhumanely butchering animals. I was also surprised to find this was not their first violation.
Drove out to store on riverside this Saturday. Sign on door and web site say they are open on Saturdays. It was closed. Wasted my time and gas
