Simple Little Farm

I can't say enough good things about my interactions with Matt at Simple Little Farm. The name fits them so well! They are truly a Simple Little Farm! I believe they really care about their animals and believe in what they do. Over the last couple of years I have purchased chick's from them. My entire flock is now just hens from Matt! They have always been healthy and beautiful! 😍 The one time that I ended up with a rooster, Matt helped guide through options that worked for me, to get the rooster to a good home. He truly cares about the well-being of his birds. I also know that Matt has a daughter that enjoys caring for the chicks, so the babies are handled and loved before they find their forever flock. I have had Matt's son process my older hens for me. They made the process very easy, they were given back to me in freezer wrapped packaging, and looked clean and tidy. I would highly recommend Matt at Simple Little Farm!!! I won't go anywhere else for my chick's! One more thing, it is quite easy to get to the farm as well. PS: if you've never had a Lavender Orpington, you're missing out!

Excellent Quality. We used to buy our chicks online and have them mailed, but always lost several either in the mail or during the first week. This year we bought from Simple Little Farm and haven’t lost a bird! Healthy chicks! Love that we can get great quality and support a local farm.

Best, healthiest chicks, ever. I am so glad these folks are near me because our family has experienced constant heartbreak and difficulty with shipped chicks- including chicks purchased at local farm stores (which are shipped and vaccinated). I cannot emphasize enough how this practice results in high mortality and compromised health in the ones who make it. Now that I have found Simple Little Farm, I will only be buying the chicks I don't hatch myself from them. I have seriously never had healthier, more lively chicks than from here. Thanks Matt, I have already recommended you to every chicken person in the area I know.

This is our first year having a flock of backyard chickens, and Simple Little Farms has been a wonderful partner in the process. From offering a variety of layers and meat birds, to the top quality feed that is made here in Washington! Their website is easy to navigate, easy transactions, and FAST communication. SLF made our chicken dreams achievable!

We purchased some egg layers from this farm and they were some of the healthiest chicks we’ve ever gotten. We appreciated being able to pick them up where they were born and raised, which allowed us to see where they really came from.

I bought several chicks (3 australorps, 1 blue maran, 2 blue laced wyandottes) , and absolutely love them! Love that it is a local farm. The chicks are healthy and not distressed at all. Can’t wait for next year to grow my flock!

Great customer service! I ordered some chicks and quickly realized I was not as prepared to raise them as I had thought I would be. They allowed me to cancel the order and within minutes of me requesting to cancel they refunded my account. Excellent communication and customer service. Also my sister had them butcher her roosters and they did a great job!

They have done my processing several times and I was very pleased. I. Have also gotten older chick's from them and they did very well.

The chicken is incredible and you could not find a more kind owner in Matt. This is the way farms should be run. We absolutely love simple little farm. Wish it were closer to us!!
