Silver Fox Farm Alpacas

My daughter and I called on a weekday morning and spoke with Ralph the owner who scheduled us for the time we preferred which was noon (one other Dad there with 2 kids). We arrived to find a spotless, well organized, beautiful Alpaca farm! The herd is about 20 strong, all healthy and sweet animals. Ralph gives you all the information you could want to know about Alpacas, takes you into their large paddock, gives you big handfuls of pellets and shows you how to feed and get close to them for petting. By nature they are gentle and calm, they have only bottom incisors and will not bite your hand. We stayed for just over an hour and it was fantastic. Ralph doesn't charge a fee for the experience, but he does accept donations for the care and upkeep of the Alpacas. I highly recommend for all ages. Wear a pair of sneakers. This place is a gem! We will be back to visit this sweet herd again and spend some more time with Ralph! Next time I'll buy some of the Alpaca fleece goods for sale in the sweet little gift shop they have in the stable!

We had the best afternoon with Ralph the owner and the Alpacas! The farm is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. The Alpacas are so loved and well cared for. I highly recommend taking the time to visit them. It was a wonderful experiences for my husband and I. We will definitely go back to visit!!

We took our daughter and our parents on Mother’s Day. The farm is very Well kept and clean. Ralph was super friendly. Our daughter is 2 and She LOVED feeding the alpacas and ate right out of her hand. She was not afraid. I also enjoyed it myself , the animals are so beautiful it was so peaceful . Would def come back again

They were patient and accommodating, allowing us to take our time with the alpacas and ensuring we had plenty of opportunities to interact with these gentle creatures. The gift shop is also a must-visit, offering a variety of high-quality alpaca products, from cozy scarves to luxurious blankets, all made from alpaca wool. If you're looking for a place with excellent customer service, a peaceful atmosphere, and the chance to learn about and interact with alpacas, Silver Fox Alpaca Farm is the perfect destination. I can’t recommend it enough and will definitely be visiting again!

Ralph and Connie are very nice and very knowledgeable. Spent an hour learning about the Alpacas, of their Alpaca journey, and feeding the wonderful animals. Jersey Girl was my favorite with her big beautiful eyes. They also offer a picnic area and campfires. Wonderful experience.

Ralph was the best! He really loves his animals and is very knowledgeable! We felt this was very educational and inspiring! The alpacas were so friendly and welcoming. There is also a Merch store! We cant wait to come back! We feel as though we made a new friend! thanks Ralph!

I highly recommend visiting Silver Fox Farms. They are so welcoming as well as interactive and informative. The Alpacas are well kept and will come eat out of your hands. This is a must do if you are in the area !!!

We took a drive out when we were camping. We met Connie the owner, who was a very nice lady & was very informative about the alpacas. They are open year round & I would advise making an appointment. They also have a cute store too! 😎 …

Wow!! This place is the best place ever!! The owners are so friendly and knowledgeable!! You can feed and pet the beautiful alpacas!!! I recommend packing a lunch and have a visit to this farm! They have handmade clothing and souvenirs for sale also. No cost but donations are appreciated!!

Had an excellent experience at this Alpaca Farm. After calling ahead to make an appointment, we arrived and were promptly greeted by the very friendly owners. We then got to go inside the pen with the alpacas and feed them and interact with them. It was a ton of fun and we learned a lot about alpacas in the process. The owners are super nice and there is also a small gift shop to purchase alpaca themed items from. Overall allow an hour in total for the visit.
