Stayed here with Harvest Host. Went to their shop and got some heirloom beans and grass fed lamb. They have organic grass fed beef and lots of wool related things too. Really kind family who runs this sustainable farm. They picked some blackberries for us and gave our kids a ride on an ATV to water some cows and herd up some sheep. The kids had a great time.
Our family has benefited from this local farm, enjoying their lamb meat, beef, dried beans, and wool products for years now. Everything is quality. They've been wonderful to work with. I enjoyed taking my kids to see the sheep sheering a couple years ago at the farm.

I'm going to get more grains from there when what I bought is all gone. I love that I can get organic Einkorn in my own community! The owners are really nice and I enjoyed talking about gardening, composting, and livestock raising with him. I look forward to returning and I also can buy organic, grass fed, pasture raised beef and lamb from this lovely couple!
We have attended sheep shearing day at Shady Side Farm for many years and are always impressed by their operation, their care for their animals and their willingness to answer all questions. They are true professionals, welcoming hosts and great educators. We come away every year knowing more about the production of wool, the care of sheep and what is involved with running a farm. Their many varieties of beans are delicious too!
Iām a fellow vendor at the FSM. I purchased two packages of lamb brats today at FSM. I have to say without reservation these lamb brats were the BEST I have EVER HAD!! Great Harvest Host, pleasant over night stay. They grow and sell many kinds of beans. Also sell rag rugs and wool socks that they make. They are also at the farmers market in South Haven Michigan.

their wool socks are excellent for my son who works outside, service is friendly, great shop to look around in even if you don't knit
