This place is absolutely adorable with all the things you would wnat to find in a farm market! Fresh produce, incredibly fluffy and delicious fresh baked bread, delightful sweet treats, and fantastic smelling homemade soaps and lotions. The cheesy bread was outstanding and we ate the entire loaf in one day! My boys LOVED it! The shoofly whoopie pie was sooo delicious! My husband doesnt like overly sweet things and I really thought this would be too much for him but he loved it! It had the perfect amount of filling and cream and the flavors blended seamlessly! I cannot wait to try all the other delicious treats they offer. They also have a made to order sandwich shop and fresh made coffee drinks! Perfect for everyday groceries, unique gift ideas and tons of adorable seasonal decor for your home! I will definitely be frequently this shop more often!

Shady Acres- what a phenomenal little farm market; really, now you don’t want to miss this outstanding definition of a unique local shopping experience. Even the “Amish” owners/manager are above average. We were privileged to attend their 2nd annual fall event this Saturday. In addition to free refreshments served, you could purchase BBQ chicken and rib dinners complete with all the sides. The entire event space was tastefully decorated with fitting autumn themes, while at the same time not overly lavish. It was nothing short of amazing! Even if you missed the special event, you don’t want to forego the opportunity of stopping in during regular business hours. They serve MTO deli fresh subs, sandwiches, and wraps, complete with your choice of warm soft pretzels or various other delectable baked goodies. To top it off, they offer arguably the most incredibly original selection of coffee drinks available in good ole Lancaster County (like, whoever would have thunk of brewing a lavender flavored latte?) Last but not least, their in-house-concocted meadow tea beverages are a refreshing must try. Of course, they have the standard, and some of the non-standard, items for a roadside farm store. Mums, pumpkins, and every kind of produce you could imagine, with some traditional bulk foods and candies thrown in. Locally sourced animal products, like milk, yogurt, ice cream, and various meat options in beef, pork, and poultry are here aplenty. Even the friendly team members are working in harmony, hitting all the right notes in excellent customer service. Truly, you’ve got to stop in to experience this extraordinary place yourself! 👏👍👌

This is an awesome country store. And if you see this sign back at the deli, you need to try a warm blueberry cake donut! Love the selection and quality of goods. Delis sandwiches are awesome and made to order.

1st time here, I was pleasantly surprised how nice the store is. The prices are great compared to grocery stores or The Country Store. They do not have the largest selection of lunch meats but what they have are good and priced well. I will go here more often.

Stopped in today for some fall decorations and food! Got a donut and soft pretzel and 2 subs. Everything was very good and freshly made! Got a few pumpkins and some hay bales and some other goodies inside. Everything is priced well and the pumpkins are all very nice and a lot of varieties to choose from!

Ice cream, organic and seasonal produce, meat from the farm, and prepared food! Soups, pies, breads, sandwiches made to order and a small coffee shop inside as well. I really love their no sugar added apple butter and their homemade ketchup, especially the black pepper one. Flavored honey sticks, local brand sodas, and honey! Great little find and beautiful drive right in Elizabethtown.

I love this farmers market where everything is fresh. I also like that each time we go they have a few different things than the last time. love their homemade berry patch tea!!

We like this market. Beautiful place with beautiful flowers, fresh vegetables, meat and different milk products. Ice cream is tasty just sat on the summer playground and enjoyed ice cream.

such a cozy quaint and beautiful rest stop on the side of the road. the food here is amazing, especially the ice cream. theres literally only one 1 star review here complaining about a “lack of variety” here. lady this is a farm stop not a walmart

First time at a small Farm Market 🙋🏽‍♀️ I’m amazed. So much variety, fresh produce and meat. I got their Country French salad dressing and…. wow, delicious. Also got a black raspberry, a chocolate and a vanilla homemade ice cream and they were all good but the black raspberry one… WOW, delicious. I’m a Carrot Cake kind of girl and this has been the 2nd best carrot cake I’ve ever had and trust me, I’ve tried maaaaany. We got fresh meat (pork chops and ribs). Ribs were good, just not too much meat but that’s normal. I haven’t cooked the pork chops yet. Definitely going back.
